Pat McIntyre is a singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist currently based in the South of England. Having successfully completed a Music Technology degree in 2004, he is now studying the World's only Masters degree in Songwriting.
Originally from Carmarthenshire, Wales, music has been in his blood throughout his life - a classically trained pianist from the age of 8 and a self-taught guitarist from the age of 12. He has grown up around technology and has a wealth of experience with digital recording and programming.
Pat has had an ear for a catchy melody from an early age, and spent most of his teenage years writing and recording songs. As well as forming guitar-based bands, Pat continued to write material in different genres beyond his teens and through his early twenties, both for himself and for others.
Pat is currently performing some live acoustic sets, mostly in the Bristol area. He thrives on playing live and always builds a rapport with the crowd. He uses a looper pedal to add depth to his live performances and always gives a passionate display. Check out the videos below for some looping work, and some live stuff.
His main focus at the moment is writing new songs, rewriting and rerecording old songs and collaborating. Please get in touch if you have any comments, or would like to work with Pat. He is always working on new projects and would like to work with as many artists as possible.
All songs on this page written, arranged, recorded and mixed by Patrick McIntyre (with the exception of "Run" - written by Snow Patrol). Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, keyboards, bass guitar, percussion arrangements and vocals by Pat McIntyre.
