As a solo artist Pat Puckett has been kicking around in various forms (re: a few dozen line-up changes and counting) for the last 10 years. His new record 'kantine' features guest artists Alejandro Escovedo ,the Silos' Walter Salas-Humara and Paul Harris(nick drake, buffalo springfield). Puckett also did a brief stint in Escovedo's band as guitarist( they happily parted ways before killing each other) as well as helping out his friend Eric Bachman/crooked fingers on live dates.
Puckett currently has a pile of recordings taller than himself and has released a new album. He'd like you to hear it. The record - Kantine - is now available.

Glad to see you still rocking out. I've been one of your fans for quite awhile..I miss those impromptu shows at the old Waterworks. Cheers from TX- David
Hey Pat, this is Chris the kid that works at Music Center next to you now! And you know of my Messiah, Hearty! This is CRAZY!!! And you know the sphinx, Nate Sadler and the Soft Targets. I'm gonna vomit now.
Hey, I just posted a song that I think you’ll really like. This is from Karma Generator; the recording was started in 2004. We still need to add the vocal harmonies (the singer may have new/ different lyrics too, so the entire vocal part MAY change), but this is a good approximation of what the finished result will be. Please drop me comments, whether you like it or not.
I’ve also added “Alex” by Silly Wabbit. If you know Alex Weiss (booking genius), then you should get a kick out of this one. This one is only going to be up for a short time. It’s from a gig at Planet 10 in August, 1987. The performance is almost as bad as the recording, but hey, it’s a live, semi-punk show – whaddaya expect?
Blessed are the honest and wreckless.
Blessed are the deep and light.
Blessed are bravely dark.
Blessed are the friends of Time.
Blessed are the generous and loyal.
Blessed are those angered by anger.
Blessed are those lifted by love.
Pat Puckett, get it on!
One family.
Selah.
