Troubadour moderne, Patric parcourt le monde entier avec ses chansons en occitan. Appelée aussi Langue d’Oc, l’Occitan était l’idiome des Troubadours au moyen-âge, et c’est aujourd’hui encore la langue qui circule dans le sud de la France (les régions qui composent l’Occitanie sont la Provence, le Languedoc, le Limousin, l’Auvergne et la Gascogne soit environ treize millions d’habitants). Patric est le plus célèbre des artistes occitans et la presse française dit de lui qu’il est: « Un des inventeurs du Folk-Song européen » écrit le journal Télérama. Il a enregistré 18 albums et créé son label de productions AURA (www.madeinoccitania.com) (A modern troubadour, Patric travels all over the world with his Occitan songs. Also known as “Langue d’Oc”, the Occitan language used to be the Troubadours’idiom in the Middle-Ages and this language is still spoken in the South of France (five regions compose the Langue d’Oc country also called “Occitania”: Provence, Languedoc, Limousin, Auvergne and Gascogne;altogether they represent 13 million people. Patric is the most famous of all Occitan artists and the French press acknowledges he is “One of the creators of European folk songs” (French weekly magazine “Télérama”). So far he has recorded 18 records and launched his own production label Aura (www.madeinoccitania.com)
