Né en 1973, Patrice d'Angelo commence la musique à l'âge de 13 ans en rentrant au Conservatoire de Musique des Alpes de Haute Provence ou il y étudie le saxophone. A 19 ans, il intègre sa première formation en tant que saxophone solo. Deux ans plus tard, il crée son propre groupe, «The Groove Blaster», il y est manager, chanteur, guitariste puis bassiste. Le groupe se produit régulièrement dans les bars, pubs et cafés-concerts de Nice. C'est durant cette période qu'il fait ses premières rencontres avec la musique électronique. Très vite, à 24 ans, il participe à sa première soirée en tant que DJ sous le nom de Mr Sakura. 6 mois plus tard, il devient résident du «City Cab's Café», discotheque underground dans le Var. Depuis 1998, il na cessé de jouer un rôle important dans le mouvement électronique de sa région. Cest tout naturellement quà 26 ans, il se lance dans la composition et ses productions se nourrissent de son parcours musicale eclectique. Son premier album sort en septembre 2000 de manière confidentielle, suivi en 2001 par 1 maxi sur le label cannois ZEBRA 3/kill Huguy bear/ZB001. Créateur et label manager des labels 7 addicted records, City cab's records et Freaky Cab's records depuis 2006 ou il signe avec des artistes Niçois tels que Carlo Mora, Nick Holson, Redj et Elodie Kirsten. Devenu directeur artistique du Hi Hotel à Nice depuis 2008 et aprés une vingtaine de maxis, 3 albums et quelques soirée en DJset, ou Live Act aux cotés d'artistes tels que : Ellen Allien, The MFA, Dave Clarke, Technasia, Kiki, Blackstrobe, Marco Bailey, Paul Nazca et bien d'autres, Patrice d'Angelo est un producteur complet, sa musique est un savoureux mélange de house, de minimale, et de breakbeat, avec une petite touche trancey.

Born in 1973, Patrice d'Angelo gets into music at the age of 13 by entering the "Conservatoire de Musique des Alpes de haute provence". He learns music theory and saxophone for 6 years. At the age of 19, he joins his first band as a solo sax. Two years later, he creates his own band "The Groove Blaster" (he is the manager, lead singer, guitarist then bassist). The band performs regularly in bars, pubs and "cafe-concert" in Nice. During this period, he discovers electronic music and, when the band splits in 1985, Patrice soon begins DJing as Mr Sakura. He is 24. He then becomes the resident DJ of the City Cabs Café, an underground club in Frejus. Since 1998 he plays a important part in the development of the electronic movement in the south of France ; DJ and promoter, he starts producing at the age of 26. His tracks are eclectic like his influences. He releases his first home made album in 2000, then his first single on Zebra 3, a french Label, in 2001 (Kill Huggy Bear / ZB001). Boss and label manager of 7 Addicted records, City Cab's Records & Freaky Cab's Records since 2006, he signs several local artists as Calo Mora, Nick Holson, Redj & Elodie Kirsten. In 2008, Patrice d'Angelo becomes the artistic director of Hi Hotel after 20 EPs, 3 Albums and many live acts & DJ sets with artists as : Ellen Allien, The MFA, Dave Clarke, Technasia, Kiki, Blackstrobe, Marco Bailey, Paul Nazca and many more. His music is always festive, a delicious cocktail of house, minimal and breakbeat, and, always, his trancey touch.

Trained as a pianist, Samuel Brunel became quickly influenced by repetitive music, from Philip Glass to Steve Reich. He began integrating machines into his compositions, and the evocative power and energy of minimal techno fascinated him. He eventually traded his instruments for a computer, which led to various collaborations with classical musicians and filmmakers…
Everything starts with Samuel’s original approach. The track includes rolling percussions with a bassy drive and a lots of dynamic background action that makes this track a real infectious groove… For the first time, Zhao offers a decidedly techno track with a cyclical & bleep touch that will surprise many! Redj’s remix is a minimal techno track deep & dark to get cold in the back… Finally, Zecapx delivers a mental version with sliced leads, a swing bass line and deconstructed samples.
