Auteur, compositeur, interprète et guitariste formé à l’option musique du collège Lionel-Groulx à Ste-Thérèse. L’authenticité et la polyvalence sont les qualificatifs qui représentent très bien Patrice Massicotte, la personne, mais aussi l’artiste.
Il a d’abord pris la route avec la formation Galarno, pour ensuite poursuivre en solo. On a d’ailleurs pu entendre quelques-unes de ses chansons dans la série télévisée Rivière-Des-Jérémie diffusée à la télévision de Radio-Canada.
Il s’est impliqué également au théâtre, et ce, tant en jeune qu’en grand public, entre-autre avec la compagnie Diablo-Corps dont il a été le co-fondateur avec Martin Boileau. Par la suite, il fut directeur musical, guitariste et comédien dans la pièce Toc toc chez madame Bolduc, écrite et mise en scène par Lorraine Beaudry, compositeur et interprète dans Tout à fait obsessionnel de Martin Boileau. Tout récemment, il était guitariste dans le théâtre musical La Vraie vie est ailleurs de Sylvain Scott.
En plus des projets au théâtre, il collabore avec différents artistes interprètes en tant qu’auteur, compositeur, accompagnateur et arrangeur.
Présentement, Patrice travaille à l’élaboration de son album en vue d’une sortie au cours de l'année 2009.
