I love co-writing and group singing, and am so lucky and thankful to be working with some of the best in the business. "Before Time Flew Away" was co-written with the multi-talented Jon Hayes--songwriter, producer, engineer, guitarist, singer. "What are the Chances" is a co-write with L.A. Songstress Erin Cost. Jon Hayes produced the track. "Little Things" was written with Oakland's own bluesman Stevon Schwartz, and produced by Jon Hayes. "I Dream of You" is a co-write with the super-talented songwriter Tracy Scharf. Jon Hayes once again produced the track. "Peace Will Find a Way" is another co-write with Jon Hayes and features members of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir. "Long Road Home" and "Another Way to Say Goodbye" are both co-writes with Jon Hayes, who once again worked his magic producing the tracks. "Give it Away" was written with Stevon Schwartz, and features me on lead and backing vocals as well as Stevon on backing vocals. Tony Lufrano (The Whispers) produced the track. "Long Distance Lullaby" is a co-write with the excellent lyricist Ingrid Nielsen and features me on lead and bk vocals. The track was done by movie music man Marcus Barone (Lifehouse) and the incomparable Bonnie Hayes (Bonnie Rait, Bette Midler, Natalie Cole, Cher) recorded the vocals and did the final mix.

Patricia Bahia (pronounced ba-he-ah) is a Los Angeles-based singer songwriter and recording artist who has recorded and toured the world with celebrated artists, written with hit songwriters, and triumphed over cancer. She is a force of nature, in artistry and in life.
A first-generation American with a Dutch father and an Iranian mother who came to the U.S. via Brazil, Patricia grew up in “Mid-Mo,” the heartland of Missouri. After a stop in Austin, Texas, Patricia landed in San Francisco, and began her musical career.
Patricia has performed across the world, as a soloist and founding member in Terrance’s Kelly’s Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, recorded with Linda Rondstadt, Tramaine Hawkins and Carlos Santana, and performed live with Lenny Williams (Tower of Power), Take 6, Lyle Lovett, Joan Baez, and Linda Rondstadt, to name a few.
In 2003, a cancer diagnosis helped Patricia “look within to examine what I wanted most in life, and what I was called to contribute to the world. It helped me realize that my artistry and songwriting needed to become a priority.”
This new focus has been the beginning of a new chapter in Patricia’s musical life, which has led to the recording of her debut album of original songs, Before Time Flew Away, (expected early 2010) a celebratory, contemplative and fresh melding of electro-acoustic, pop, and soul which embraces her victory over cancer, her musical experiences, and her life story.
May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through!
A diamond shines no brighter than that lovely Christmas star. It shines in all its brilliance; it's seen from near or far. A symbol of the Christ child as He lay upon the hay, It tell to all the waiting world a King was born that day. O Bethlehem Star keep shining - give us faith and hope and love. Keep our thoughts forever turning to the Savior up above. Give us strength and hope and courage to do our best by far And never falter in our faith as we watch that Christmas star..
