This photo was taken during my trip to India. Before I did the research in the brothels, I went on a typical site-seeing trip - visiting the Taj Mahal, the sacred Ganges river, where families send the cremated remains of their relatives floating down the river in a beautiful night-time ritual.
Why did I include this picture and some of the other site-seeing photos?
To show the beauty and wonder and magnificance of this country. My book only looks at the dark corners of India. I wanted readers to see some of what is so enchanting about this country, too.
