Patricia Noworol

About me:

PATRICIA NOWOROL, Polish - German choreographer, dancer and teacher based in New York City and Germany. She has a vast range of experience; performing on television, dramas, fashion and fitness. Patricia received a BFA degree in Dance Performance on Stage and a Masters in Dance Education from Folkwang University of Essen, Germany. She also attended the prestigious New York University's Tisch School of the Arts on scholarship, graduating with an MFA in Dance and Choreography. In 2002, Patricia was honored in Nordhein Westphalia/Germany and presented with the Young Artist Award of the Ministry of Arts and Culture. She has appeared and choreographed for several international productions, dance cruise lines, fashion shows and festivals in Russia, Poland, Serbia, Greece, among others as well as worked in several theaters and musicals in Germany. In Europe, she collaborated and performed as a soloist for artists like A. Alarcon, L. Cruz and B. M. Merki as well as the company members of the Tanztheater Wuppertal/Pina Bausch, including M. Airaudo, L. Forster, D. Mercy, J.Sasportes and A. M. Benati. In the United States she has worked with D.Jowitt, K.Cummings, N.Lafrance and C.Haworth. In 2007, Noworol formed Patricia Noworol Dance Company (PNDC) based in Manhattan. The company has performed in numerous New York City venues including; FAR Space, New York University Tisch School of the Arts, DanceNow Raw Festival, the Gala Benefit & the Festival Performances at Dumbo Dance Festival, the HATCH and the La MaMa Moves Dance Festival, among others. In May 2008, PNDC presented “Delirium”, a full-evening Dance Multimedia Performance, which garnered critical and audience acclaim. PNDC new production "CIRCUITS" will be presented at the NYC INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FESTIVAL August 14 –30, 2009.
