Tenor Patrick Anderson has been singing since the age of nine. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in applied voice from Albertson College of Idaho, where he studied with Dr. Mari Jo Tynon. While at Albertson College he participated in the opera workshop in the roles of Tamino (Magic Flute), Sasha (Fiddler on the Roof), and Frederic (Pirates of Penzance). He was also invited back in 2004 as an alumni guest artist to sing the role of Nelson Deadly in Edwin Penhorwood's "Too Many Sopranos." After finishing his Bachelors he moved to Spokane where he studied with Marjory Halvorson and sang with Spokane/Coeur D'Alene Opera as a preview artist for Don Pasquale, and later as Gastone in La Traviata and as a member of the ensemble in La Boheme. His concert and oratorio repertoire includes tenor soloist in the Woodland Production of Handel's Messiah; Mendelssohn's Lobgesang, Vivaldi's and Poulenc's Gloria, and Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings Symphony, all with the Spokane Symphony and Chorale under the baton of Eckhardt Preu. While in Spokane he also sang in a masterclass for baritone Thomas Hampson. He is currently working towards a Masters of Music in voice performance at The Ohio State University where he studies with Prof. C. Patrick Woliver. Show credits at Ohio State include Mozart, Murder and Mayhem opera scenes showcase, covering Nemorino in L'Elisir D'Amore, and Linfea in Francesco Cavalli's La Calisto, and is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church Choir. In the summer of 2007 he sang Normanno in La Musica Lirica's production of Lucia di Lammermoor in Novafeltria, Italy. In 2008 he sang the role of Monostatos in Ohio State University's production of The Magic Flute and will be singing Count Almaviva and Pang in the opera scenes showcase slated for spring. This spring will also see the completion of his Masters of Music in Voice Performance and his culmination of study on March 28th, 2008 in his Masters recital.

I have no idea why they wouldn't pick you.
I think you'd be especially good in PF and Mikado

Thank you! I've been trying to remember what that was from all day... besides being a parody on Lenny from Of Mice and Men.

Under the Sea!
There'll be no accusations--
Just friendly crustaceans.

thanks so much man. I think that you also have a beautiful voice. The bellini really sounds great in your voice. I am doing both those pieces as part of a Bellini set in my senior recital this may. Good luck with the Donizetti coming up!

I was looking at my cuts for aria based on page numbers and measure numbers that he wrote down for me, and none of it makes senese. My guess is that the only thing they are going to cut is I think the first time I sing the fast "Il mio rigo dimentica at the bottom of page 363. I have emailed Haddock requesting a complete list of cuts. I will let you know.
