Growing up in the south, Patrick was exposed to a lot of great music at an early age. In his hometown of Augusta, Georgia, he discovered great mentors like the God Father him self, Mr. James Brown and Larry Jon Wilson. "It is pretty interesting how my taste in music changes from day to day. People tend to get pretty confused when looking at my CD collection," says Patrick. And that is true. He is a true music fan, which leads to the different influences in his sound.
When Patrick is not writing or recording new music, he plays regular shows in Augusta and does some touring around the southeast. Patrick also plays bass guitar for Atlanta based, Vanguard recording artist Shawn Mullins. "Shawn is the last of a generation of true troubadours" says Patrick. Along with occasional sightings of Patrick playing bass on stage for Shawn's band shows, he also does some road work with Shawn helping out with road managment duties.
With years of experience under his belt, Patrick will admit that he loves music from the inside out. Ten years of playing in clubs, coffee houses, listening rooms, and opening for headliners has morphed an already eager song writer into an artist all in his own.
