Patrick Burke has been playing solo acoustic shows throughout central Florida & Pennsylvania for the past 3 years, and releasing his solo album THE LETTUCE PRAY PROJECT in 2007, many have become acquainted with his shows. Switching gears from his last record, an eclectic mix of rock, pop,Christian and emo, Patrick settles into his own with BEST FOOT FORWARD. This record features a sampling of full band tracks, but gears more around the solo acoustic singer/songwriter genre with piano and string & traditional accents. BEST FOOT FORWARD was released on the birth of Patrick's daughter, Paisley Elizabeth, on November 28th,2008. Its available here at the site, or @ www.cdbaby.com and all digital formats.
ABOUT PATRICK:
Patrick is a Pennsylvania boy from birth, who started playing drums at age 7. Being interested in music, he has amassed over 1500 cds from all different generations/genres. He began singing & playing acoustic guitar in the 90's and formed SEARCHING FOR GLADYS, a central PA hard rock band that spent the last 7 years touring the club circuit. The band recorded a demo in 2000, and also a debut record called “Make your Mind” in 2004. He has played CBGB’s in NYC and opened up for acts like Breaking Benjamin & SR-71. He had been the bands lyricist providing emotional lyrics & an energetic stage presence. Since branching solo in 2006, he stays true to himself, by writing about many different aspects in life, love, including his Christian faith, and all many different life topics.

Hey I am so glad i got to meet the voice behind SFG .,. even tho i never got to see you guys ... I LOVE THE CD!! i listen to it all the time i drive Troy nuts with it!! ahha.. Conversation is my fav!! lol. i am always makin him sing it to me!! lol. on the other hand.. i have listened to ur cd the newest one n i abso. luv it!! i keep tryin to steal it from him but he always takes it back!! ahaha.
