Music, art, lust, life in general, New York City, baseball (Yankees all the way!), writing songs, raising my kids, hanging out with my long-suffering wife, daydreaming about moving back to New York City, and many other amazing and not so amazing things.
Music
Since I like everything, here's what I'm listening to lately - Slipknot - All Hope is Gone, Bruce Springsteen - Live '75 - '85, Elysian Fields - Queen of the Meadow, Aerosmith - Rocks, etc.
I have seen one movie in the theater in the two years since my daughter has been born. I'm hoping to catch Watchmen when it comes out. Maybe. Otherwise, I love movies. If you go to the AFI's Top 100 Films - you'll get a cross-section of what I like.
Television
I use it to watch movies and baseball mostly, but Greg showed me all the shows I like - Rescue Me, 24, Bones, Burn Notice, and Criminal Minds. They are all good, all much better on DVD with subtitles. I'm going deaf, you know.
Books
Lately, I've read and loved - 1491, Lamb (Or: The Gospel According to Biff), and The Master and Margarita.
Heroes
My heroes are anyone who chases their dream to the detriment of their financial, romantic, or mental well-being, the people who by choice or profession spend their whole lives in the service of others and receive little to no credit for it (this includes everyone from volunteers at your local animal shelter to firefighters and ambulance workers), and anyone who strives to become something more than they are - physical, mental, spiritual, artistic, or otherwise. Oh, and my Mom. She yelled at me for leaving her off last time she read this.
About me: I live in Texas, but I'm from New York - something I probably have a little too much pride in. I like pretty much every kind of music from death metal to Bolivian folk songs (I'm not exaggerating - I have two CD's of Bolivian folk music.)
I play drums for Powderburn. Go to myspace.com/powderburn, and take a listen to the new track "One By One". Or go back to looking at pictures of 16 year-old girls pulling up their shirts, like you probably were before you got to this page. Savage. When that's through, go check out the new www.powderburn.net. It's brand new, so look around.
I'm a proud dad - my daughter is two and I have another on the way. They have already turned my whole life inside out and changed everything about me. . . . and I love them for it.
So, to sum up, I'm a Yankee in the South, playing metal and raising kids and loving the hell out of life. Drop a line anytime.

Who I'd like to meet: Everyone. Literally everyone. I wish I spoke every language in the world - I am irritated on a cellular level by the fact that I can't communicate with every person on the Earth. Is that weird?
Great seeing you last night.... Badass show... I had fun chit chatting with you after the show... Looking forward to seeing you guys again... Take care and KIT, Layla <3
