Yeah. I'm sure you've struggled with this question. It shifts and changes - how can you give a short summation of what you love, what drives you, when the answer is nuanced and ever-changing?
Patrick Tunney knows what this is like. If you asked him what kind of music he plays, the answer would probably be something like 'Blues, Funk and Jazz with Popular Sensibilities' or 'Catchy but still Musically credible'. Or maybe 'Acoustic and stuff with other instruments sometimes'. The only way you can really form an idea of Patrick's music is or represents is to listen - speakers, headphones, car radios, live shows... he blows expectations out of the water and then comes back and does it again.
Patrick lives in Brisbane and is well-known for his first single, Up and Go, off of Consolidation - his first EP. Try, his next single off of an upcoming EP, is currently a work in progress.
Consolidation is available on iTunes, at Rocking Horse Records or at any of Patrick’s many live shows. Try will be released sometime in the next few months.
