Who I'd like to meet:
I'm a Brit, working in the USA running the Travel Channel, which as jobs go is pretty great fun. Travel is the home of Antony Bourdain: No Reservations (probably the hipist and edgiest factual programme on tv at present) and the home of 5 Takes (our interactive series where 5 young people get a journey of a lifetime, vlogging and blogging as they go and surviving on $50 per day). check them out at www.travelchannel.com The nickname, TravelChannelBigCheese, is the moniker i use when I'm particpating on my networks message boards. The message boards are a greta way of getting direct feedback from our viewers, and I'm really interested in the new developments in media and the growth of user generated content.......... hoping through Myspace i'll can network with others who are enjoying this democratisation of the medium. as for me, married to Jill with two kids, Rebecca and Alex. Love soccer, rugby (real man's game, no padding, 40 minutes each-way and no time outs) and cricket, think american football and basketball are great but juries out on baseball and ice hockey. favourite country in the world, barbados. favourite city visited - between Sydney and San Francisco favourite drink - Guiness (in Dublin or a real irish bar only)
