I was born and raised in Austria, studied jazz and composition at the Gustav Mahler Conservatory in Vienna, graduated with honors and started my career in Vienna touring with different bands. Working with African, Turkish, Italian, Cuban, Colombian, Brasilian and American singers and musicians opened my ears to all kinds of music and ways to tell a story!
My new love is the nylon string guitar, I picked up playing this wonderful instrument last year and can't stop ever since. Nothing can beat this instrument, it's beautiful mellow tone is closest to the human voice in my opinion.

In 2004 I meet the wonderful singer and composer Dean Bowman and the great pianist and composer Danny Grissett in Europe before I had the intention to come to New York. As a matter of fact these two great people made me wanne come to the city and after my first New York tour in 2005 with Dean Bowman sponsored by the Austrian Culture Institute, I had decided to stay in New York. I have been a part of variouse singer/songwriter and poetry showcases and performed with my group at the Blue Note late night groove series, 55 Bar, Smoke, Sweet Rhythm, Rockwood Music Hall, Solomon's Porch, and Bowery Poetry Club.
Before moving to New York I performed with my group in Europe at Joe Zawinul's Birdland, Danube Island Festival the biggest open air event in Europe, Porgy & Bess, Vienna City Festival, Cafe ZAN in Ramallah Palestine.
I'm fortunate to travel a lot and to meet many talented people around the globe. If you are around please come by and say hello I would be happy to meet you.
As much as I love music I love mother nature in all it's beauty and I'm trying to live a conscious life not wasting the precious resources she gives us. To all of the people I can reach here on this GREAT music space.
We have all seen the changes around the world. The time for avoiding what's happening has passed and so we move on to new ways of working out how to create a sustainable lifestyle.
There are brilliant minds all over the world coming up with new ways to provide us with ways of living the way we have grown to love that will have far less impact on this beautiful world. It's time to support those new ways. It's time to teach others when we find them.
