Hailing from separate corners of the Midwest, the members of Pattern Crawler
come together to create unique, aggressive rock music. Citing inspirational
prog-rock bands like Yes, Rush, The Mars Volta, and Tool, the group has put
their own spin on the genre, writing moderately complex, interesting
arrangements. With carefully woven guitars, punishing rhythms, and
introspective lyrics, Pattern Crawler channels the energy of At the Drive-in
while maintaining the composure of bands like Shiner and Hum. Their
eclectic style is a testament to the members’ diverse musical and personal
backgrounds. Pattern Crawler is what happens when an art teacher, a
marching band drummer, a computer music composer, and a chemist converge to make music.
Having already released a full-length album, titled "This is an Aquarium," Pattern Crawler is currently in the midst of recording a four song EP. We are also playing live so be aware of concert updates aswell as an EP release date.
