Not too long ago, an atheist here on Myspace called me a lunatic because of my unwavering FAITH in God. ROFL! He has no idea!

God, Reading, word puzzles, making jewelry,pink lady apples, turtles, walking, rocks, flip flops, daisies, dogs, cats, ferrets, flamingos, parrots, feeding and watching the birds in my yard, myspace. My husband and I have been remodeling a used mobile home that we purchased in April of 2007. We finally finished it and moved in, in April of 2009. Now I'm ready to do some volunteering. I'm not sure what kind right now. I know that God has a plan for me. He's really been moving in my life lately. I'm so excited to see what He has in store for me to do!

About me: Knocking on Heaven's Door
I am a 51 year old Christian lady. I'm an optimistic person, I love life. There was a time, eight years ago, when I was ready to give up on life. But God had other plans for me. Please read My Testimony God didn't give up on me, He won't give up on you. All you have to do is open your heart and your mind and really listen to what He's trying to tell you.
My husband and I have been married for 31 years now. We have one living son and one precious son who passed away at sixteen years old, in 1997. We WILL see him again.
I attend the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Most people are unfamiliar with this "denomination" although it has been around for over 100 years, since it split from Church of Christ. We have Communion every Sunday and it is an open Communion. As long as you have a relationship with Christ, you are welcome at the table, as it is Christ's table, not ours. And yes women are allowed to do everything men are in this "denomination". For more information about this church, go to my photos and look under the album, Church Family. I posted the basic characteristics of the Christian Church (D o C) there. Um, we are not a cult. Don't be scared off by the word Disciple. LOL!
