JOHN 1:1 IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD. V2 THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. V3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE THAT WAS MADE. V4 IN HIM WAS LIFE; AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN. V5 AND THE LIGHT SHINETH IN DARKNESS; AND THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT. V10 HE WAS IN THE WORLD, AND THE WORLD WAS MADE BY HIM, AND THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. V11 HE CAME UNTO HIS OWN, AND HIS OWN RECEIVED HIM NOT. V12 BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME. V13 WHICH WERE BORN, NOT OF BLOOD, NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH, NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN, BUT OF GOD. JOHN 3:1 THERE WAS A MAN OF THE PHARISEES, NAMED NICODEMUS, A RULER OF JEWS: V2 THE SAME CAME TO JESUS BY NIGHT, AND SAID UNTO HIM, RABBI, WE KNOW THAT THOU ART A TEACHER COME FROM GOD: FOR NO MAN CAN DO THESE MIRACLES THAT THOU DOEST, EXCEPT GOD BE WITH HIM. V3 JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO HIM, VERILY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO THEE, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD. V4 NICODEMUS SAITH UNTO HIM, HOW CAN A MAN BE BORN WHEN HE IS OLD? CAN HE ENTER THE SECOND TIME INTO HIS MOTHER'S WOMB? V5 JESUS ANSWERED, VERILY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO THEE, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, HE CANNOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. V6 THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH; AND THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT. V7 MARVEL NOT THAT I SAID UNTO THEE, YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN. V8 THE WIND BLOWETH WHERE IT LISTETH, AND THOU HEAREST THE SOUND THEREOF, BUT CANST NOT TELL WHENCE IT COMETH, AND WHITHER IT GOETH: SO IS EVERY ONE THAT IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT. JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. V17 FOR GED SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED. JOHN 4:24 GOD IS A SPIRIT: AND THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. ACTS 2:38 THEN PETER SAID UNTO THEM, REPENT,AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ON OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. v39 FOR THE PROMISE IS UNTO YOU, AND TO YOUR CHILDREN, AND TO ALL THAT ARE AFAR OFF, EVEN AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL. ROMANS 6:3-6 V3 KNOW YE NOT, THAT SO MANY OF US AS WERE BAPTIZED INTO JESUS CHRIST WERE BAPTIZED INTO HIS DEATH? V4 THEREFORE WE ARE BURIED WITH HIM BY BAPTISM INTO DEATH: THAT LIKE AS CHRIST WAS RAISED UP FROM THE DEAD BY THE GLORY OF THE FATHER, EVEN SO WE ALSO SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. V5 FOR IF WE HAVE BEEN PLANTED TOGETHER IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS DEATH, WE SHALL BE ALSO IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS RESURRECTION: V6 KNOWING THIS, THAT OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, THAT THE BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DESTROYED, THAT HENCEFORTH WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN. REV 19:6 AND I HEARD AS IT WERE THE VOICE OF A GREAT MULTITUDE, AND AS THE VOICE OF MANY WATERS, AND AS THE VOICE OF MIGHTY THUNDERINGS, SAYING, ALLELUIA: FOR THE LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT REIGNETH. V7 LET US BE GLAD AND REJOICE, AND GIVE HONOUR TO HIM: FOR THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB IS COME, AND HIS WIFE HATH MADE HERSELF READY. V8AND TO HER WAS GRANTED THAT SHE SHOULD BE ARRAYED IN FINE LINEN, CLEAN AND WHITE: FOR THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF SAINTS. V9 AND HE SAITH UNTO ME, WRITE, BLESSED ARE THEY WHICH ARE CALLED UNTO THE MARRIAGE SUPER OF THE LAMB. AND HE SAITH UNTO ME, THESE ARE THE TRUE SAYINGS OF GOD. REV 21:1 AND I SAW A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH: FOR THE FIRST HEAVEN AND THE FIRST EARTH WERE PASSED AWAY; AND THERE WAS NO MORE SEA. V2 AND I JOHN SAW THE HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, COMING DOWN FROM GOD OUT OF HEAVEN PREPARED AS A BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND. BAPTISM IN JESUS NAME .. WHY BAPTIZE IN JESUS NAME .. How lovely is Your dwelling place O Lord Almighty For my soul longs and even faints for You For here my heart is satisfied Within Your presence I sing beneath the shadow of Your wings Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere Than thousands elsewhere (Than thousands elsewhere) One thing I ask and I would seek To see Your beauty To find You in the place Your glory dwells Cause better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere My heart and flesh cry out For You, the living God Your spirit's water to my soul I've tasted and I've seen Come once again to me I will draw near to You I will draw near to You To You

glitter-graphics.com Celtic Music, Celtic Woman, Photobucket The Roots of Bluegrass The various types of music brought with the people who began migrating to America in the early 1600s are considered to be the roots of bluegrass music—including dance music and ballads from Ireland, Scotland and England, as well as African American gospel music and blues. (In fact, slaves from Africa brought the design idea for the banjo–an instrument now integral to the bluegrass sound.) As the early Jamestown settlers began to spread out into the Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky and the Virginias, they composed new songs about day-to-day life experiences in the new land. Since most of these people lived in rural areas, the songs reflected life on the farm or in the hills and this type of music was called “mountain music” or “country music.” The invention of the phonograph and the onset of the radio in the early 1900s brought this old-time music out of the rural Southern mountains to people all over the United States. Good singing became a more important part of country music. Singing stars like Jimmie Rodgers, family bands like the Carter family from Virginia and duet teams like the Monroe Brothers from Kentucky contributed greatly to the advancement of traditional country music. The Monroe Brothers were one of the most popular duet teams of the 1920s and into the 1930s. Charlie played the guitar, Bill played the mandolin and they sang duets in harmony. When the brothers split up as a team in 1938, both went on to form their own bands. Since Bill was a native of Kentucky, the Bluegrass State, he decided to call his band “Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys,” and this band sound birthed a new form of country music. “Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys” first appeared on the Grand Ole Opry in 1939 and soon became one of the most popular touring bands out of Nashville’s WSM studios. Bill’s new band was different from other traditional country music bands of the time because of its hard driving and powerful sound, utilizing traditional acoustic instruments and featuring highly distinctive vocal harmonies. This music incorporated songs and rhythms from string band, gospel (black and white), work songs and “shouts” of black laborers, country and blues music repertoires. Vocal selections included duet, trio and quartet harmony singing in addition to Bill’s powerful “high lonesome” solo lead singing. After experimenting with various instrumental cominations, Bill settled on mandolin, banjo, fiddle, guitar and bass as the format for his band. The guitar originally came from Spain. The mandolin, as well as the fiddle and acoustic bass (both from the violin family), originally came from Italy. While many fans of bluegrass music date the genre back to 1939, when Monroe formed his first Blue Grass Boys band, most believe that the classic bluegrass sound jelled in 1945, shortly after Earl Scruggs, a 21 year old banjo player from North Carolina, joined the band. Scruggs played an innovative three-finger picking style on the banjo that energized enthusiastic audiences, and has since come to be called simply, “Scruggs style” banjo. Equally influential in the classic 1945 line-up of the Blue Grass Boys were Lester Flatt, from Sparta, Tenn. on guitar and lead vocals against Monroe’s tenor; Chubby Wise, from Florida, on fiddle; and Howard Watts, also known by his comedian name, “Cedric Rainwater,” on acoustic bass. When first Earl Scruggs, and then Lester Flatt left Monroe’s band and eventually formed their own group, The Foggy Mountain Boys, they decided to include the resophonic guitar, or Dobro into their band format. The Dobro is often included in bluegrass band formats today as a result. Burkett H. “Uncle Josh” Graves, from Tellico Plains, Tenn., heard Scruggs’ three-finger style of picking in 1949 and adapted it to the then, almost obscure slide bar instrument. With Flatt & Scruggs from 1955-1969, Graves introduced his widely emulated, driving, bluesy style on the Dobro. The Dobro was invented in the United States by the Dopyera Brothers, immigrant musicians/inventors originally from the Slovak Republic. The brand name, “Dobro,” comes from DOpyera BROthers. From 1948-1969, Flatt & Scruggs were a major force in introducing bluegrass music to America through national television, at major universities and coliseums, and at schoolhouse appearances in numerous towns. Scruggs wrote and recorded one of bluegrass music’s most famous instrumentals, “Foggy Mountain Breakdown,” which was used in the soundtrack for the film, Bonnie & Clyde. In 1969 he established an innovative solo career with his three sons as “The Earl Scruggs Revue.” Scruggs still records and performs selected dates in groups that usually include his sons, Randy on guitar and Gary on bass. After parting with Scruggs in 1969, Lester Flatt continued successfully with his own group, “The Nashville Grass,” performing steadily until shortly before his death in 1979. By the 1950s, people began referring to this style of music as “bluegrass music.” Bluegrass bands began forming all over the country and Bill Monroe became the acknowledged “Father of Bluegrass Music. In the 1960s, the concept of the “bluegrass festival” was first introduced, featuring bands that had seemed to be in competition with each other for a relatively limited audience on the same bill at weekend festivals across the country. Carlton Haney, from Reidsville, N.C., is credited with envisioning and producing the first weekend-long bluegrass music festival, held at Fincastle, Va. in 1965. The increased availability of traditional music recordings, nationwide indoor and outdoor bluegrass festivals and movie, television and commercial soundtracks featuring bluegrass music have aided in bringing this music out of modern day obscurity. Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs & the Foggy Mountain Boys achieved national prominence with tour sponsorship by Martha White Flour and for playing the soundtrack for the previously mentioned film, Bonnie and Clyde, as well as on a television show called The Beverly Hillbillies. The Deliverance movie soundtrack also featured bluegrass music-in particular, “Dueling Banjos,” performed by Eric Weissberg on banjo and Steve Mandel on guitar. In 2001, the triple platinum selling soundtrack for the Coen Brothers movie, O Brother, Where Art Thou? attracted wider audiences for bluegrass and traditional country music. Bill Monroe passed away on September 9, 1996, four days before his 85th birthday. In May 1997, Bill Monroe was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because of the profound influence of his music on the popular music of this country. He is also a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor. Bluegrass music is now performed and enjoyed around the world. The IBMA alone claims members in all 50 states and 30 countries. In addition to the classic style born in 1945 that is still performed widely, bluegrass bands today reflect influences from a variety of sources including traditional and fusion jazz, contemporary country music, Celtic music, rock & roll (”newgrass” or progressive bluegrass), old–time music and Southern gospel music–in addition to lyrics translated to various languages. All this was located at http://www.ibma.org/about.bluegrass/history/index.asp I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THE CARTER FAMILY HOW THEY HAD SINCE THE 20'S INFLUENCED THE MUSIC A LONG WITH EVERYONE MENTIONED ABOVE. THE CARTER FAMILY NOW ARE CONTINUING THE TRADITION ON TO THIS GENERATION. WHAT AN HONOR IT IS TO WITNESS SOMETHING SO AUTHENTIC IN THIS VIDEO. I WOULD LIKE TO DO MY PART IN SHARING THIS TO KEEP IT GOING BY HAVING IT HERE ON MY SPACE. Maybelle Carter (May 10, 1909 – October 23, 1978) was an American country musician. She was born Maybelle Addington in Nickelsville, Virginia, the daughter of Hugh Jackson Addington and Margaret S. Kilgore. On March 13, 1926, Maybelle married Ezra J. Carter. They had three daughters, Helen, Valerie June (better known as June Carter Cash), and Anita. She was a member of the original Carter Family, which was formed in 1927 by her brother-in-law, A. P. Carter, who was married to her cousin, Sara, also a part of the trio. It was perhaps the first commercial rural Country music group. Maybelle was the guitarist and also played auto harp and banjo; she created a unique sound for the group with her innovative 'scratch' style of guitar playing, where she used her thumb to play melody on the bass and middle strings, and her index finger to fill out the rhythm. Some have singled out the work of family friend Lesley Riddle as the inspiration for this technique. She was widely respected and loved by the Grand Ole Opry community of the early 1950s, and was popularly known as "Mother Maybelle." Maybelle and her daughters toured during the 1950s and 1960s as "Mother Maybelle and the Carter Sisters." Maybelle also briefly toured with former Carter Family member, Sara Carter, during the 1960s folk music craze. She was featured on The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's 1972 recording Will the Circle Be Unbroken. Maybelle Carter is interred in Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Hendersonville, Tennessee. Patty Loveless

, I am in the process of learning how to sing kinda late at age of 42, it's never too late to teach an old person new tricks. MY DREAM IS TO SING LIKE PATTY LOVELESS, THAT IS ALL I'M SAYING ABOUT THAT, I THINK SHE HAS AN AWESOME VOICE FOR BLUEGRASS. I am on our worship team at church, with a wonderful worship leader Marlene Jackson who within her talent should be recording her own songs and music she has the gift and to be taught by her is such an honor and privilege for me, she has been patient with me for the past 5 years and now I'm able with that teaching follow in the anointing and I'm learning how that anointing makes up the difference. Contemporary worship music on my play list at bottom as you can see I have a variety of music that I like. I do prefer though the bluegrass country gospel sound the best. There is so much I would like to say on here but it would be like a 500 page book. (LOL) All my life since I was a young I have always been interested in music and wanted to follow my heart into singing well I have the chance finally to do what my dreams have been for the past 40 years. Tennis had taken over my dream of singing and possibly becoming an artist myself but sometimes the course we pick for our lives does lead us back to what we had first set our hearts to do. Celtic music is the root of Bluegrass. I would like to encourage people to keep this type of music alive. It is a great tradition that goes back generations. People who came over here from Ireland brought with them their wonderful music and it had kept them uplifted going through the many trials and tribulation's over in Ireland and also when they were the pioneers of our country in the hardships that they faced in the mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, the Carolina's and Tennessee and many more. I will collect more history and post it here for people to see how important this music is. If it wasn’t for this music there wouldn’t be others like country to follow. Here is some of the artist I listen to on a regular basis and I would like to share them with you. There are so many artist who have kept this going, I will list a few here but there are so many more. If you would like to share with me who your favorites are please do share. Celtic Woman, Patty Loveless, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Ricky Scaggs, Allison Krauss,Alison Krauss Simple Love (Live) 2007 CMA Awards.. Rhonda Vincent, Celtic and that music is root of Bluegrass these people are keeping the tradition moving right a long. I have been getting comments from young people like in their 20's who are interested in this type of music and for them to choose to listen to this with all the other types of music out there that is attracting young people and how it is getting them into numerous corrupted things, has amazed me. This music is wholesome and it tells a story that comes from the deep heart I would rather hear something that is REAL!! Photobucket I WAS RAISED IN THE WEST AND GREW UP WITH COUNTRY WESTERN TYPE OF MUSIC. I MARRIED MY HUSBAND, WHO IS FROM CLINCHCO VIRGINIA, WHEN HE TOOK ME BACK TO THE MOUNTAIN WHERE HE WAS RAISED, MY LIFE WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER THAT BEING THERE CHANGED ME IT TOOK ME TO A VERY REAL PLACE AND THE MUSIC HAD TOLD THE STORY. HIS FAMILY ALL GREW UP WITH THE NAMES LIKE RALPH STANLEY AND MANY OTHERS WHO STARTED THE TRADITION OF MOUNTAIN MUSIC. THAT IS A PLACE ONLY YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE NOT JUST TO HEAR ABOUT THE STORIES. THE MUSIC REALLY TELLS HOW IT IS AND THERE IS NOTHING MORE REAL AND TRUE TO THE HEART. THAT IS WHERE I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE BLUEGRASS MOUNTAIN MUSIC. EVERY TIME WE GO TO VISIT THE MOUNTAIN HOME PLACE IT JUST GETS MORE REAL TO ME. IT ALSO HAS THE POWER TO DRAW YOU NEARER TO JESUS. THE EVERYDAY LIFE TAKES US SOMETIMES AWAY FROM THAT PEACEFUL AND QUITE SETTING. MY HUSBAND AND I ALWAYS SAY WELL IS IT TIME TO GET RECONNECTED AGAIN OR GET A REFRESHING OF THE PEACE INSIDE US IS IT TIME TO VISIT THE MOUNTAIN. SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO REGROUP AND THAT PLACE IS DEFINITELY A PLACE TO DO IT. IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GO AND EXPERIENCE THIS PLEASE DO TAKE A TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS OF VIRGINIA. IT HAS SUCH A DRAWING PEACE. DON'T ALLOW THIS GOD CREATED BEAUTY TO DISAPPEAR! I HAVE SUCH COMPASSION TOWARD THE MEN WHO WORK SO HARD IN THE MINES JUST TO GIVE US ELECTRIC WHEN THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS, I HAVE DECIDED TO POST ON HERE MUSIC AND OTHER INFORMATION THAT COMES AGAINST STRIP MINING. TO START OUT WITH THIS BELOW THE VIDEO ABOUT WHAT THE STRIP MINERS ARE DOING TO THE PEOPLE,LANDSCAPE AND ENVIRONMENT IN THE APPALACHIANS. KATHY MATTEA AND HOW WITH HER LIFE EXPERIENCE IS EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT THIS. I'M SO GLAD I FOUND THIS OPPORTUNITY TO BE PART OF GETTING THIS INFORMATION OUT TO EVERYONE WHO COMES BY THIS SPACE THE IMPORTANCE OF WHAT THESE GROUPS ARE DOING TO TRY AND GET THIS STRIP MINING TO END!!

BooksThe Power of Giving Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down and shaking together and running over, Luke 6:38 The key to obtaining wealth is in the power of giving. It doesn’t only apply to money it is with anything your heart is set on blessing someone who is in need. For example outside of the money, “health”, we speak out healing, speaking out those things that are not as though they are. That is the same thing as giving without using money. Speak prosperity to finances! The power is in what and how we say it. We need to be aware of what comes out of our mouths by saying positive things and there will be positive outcomes when we say negative things there will be negative outcomes we speak blessings or cursings. We should follow what our heart says to do, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeith forth that which is good; out of the abundance of our hearts his mouth speaketh Luke 6:45 and also putting action to what it says. When we give to someone it should be with a giving and pure heart not looking to receive anything back but out of what God sees from the giving He will in turn Bless us for being obedient to what He had placed in our hearts to do. Diligent giving is described as urgently giving it comes with a natural instinct we generally don’t have to think about it too long in order to act on it. There is nothing wrong in receiving it is all a part of giving both works together expect blessings when you give with a PURE HEART. When we use to go to our dad and ask him for something he most likely said yes if it was to meet a need. So when a person goes to the heavenly daddy with what they need he supplies that. He has to use someone or something to give it and so that’s where we come in when someone is in need they usually pray first and God opens up the flood gates and pours out for that need and when we are obedient then that person receives the blessings and in return we receive our blessings. When someone gives with a pure heart then they in return will receive the gift of JOY! That JOY! goes a long way for encouragement to do more giving. Cause JOY! is an addictive wonderful feeling. God Bless! They that wait upon the Lord Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

IT'S MY DESIRE It's my desire to live for Jesus, It's my desire to be just like Him; Though often I've failed Him and brought Him much shame, It's my desire to live for Him. It's my desire to help someone today, Someone who may have failed to see the way; I, too, was once so lost, but I found my way to God, It's my desire to live for Him. If you could see where Jesus brought me from, To where I am today; Then you would know the reason why I love Him so, Now you can take this world's wealth and riches, I don't need earth's power; It's my desire to live for Him. If you could see where Jesus brought me from, To where I am today; Then you would know the reason why I love Him so, Now you can take this world's wealth and riches, I don't need earth's power; It's my desire, It's my desire, It's my desire to live for Him. The Battle Hymn Of Love - Kathy Mattea

Vince Gill & Patty Loveless - My_Kind_of_Woman_My_Kind_of
.. I would like to introduce myself, I am 43, I have a great husband and 2 kids! I got to know the true Jesus in December of 2001, from that point on He became the number one person in my life. Being obedient to Him, Jesus in return has Blessed me. I now have settled down in Sparta, Tennessee. Our home church is here, I am singing on the worship team. I home school my 2 children and I highly recommend that to everyone who is concerned for their kids future, it does take a lot of discipline on both the children and parents. My mother taught me how to play tournament tennis, she was a pro in the 40’s through the 50’s. I played tournaments and reached a peak of playing in the open bracket then I decided that there was more to life then tennis. My Parents and I traveled all over the United States in a RV. I got married to my husband in 1993. I traveled with him in a RV too until my second child was born. Yes we can relate to the movie, “RV”. I worked in different RV parks around the country as office manager, while my husband worked the grounds. I have also traveled to the Caribbean to the island of Barbados, and also to Hawaii, Maui and have enjoyed every trip that I have been on in this Country and Canada. In my travels I have met up with some wonderful people and some I have kept as close friends. I highly recommend this if you have a desire to go RVing. There is a lot of our country to see. Very good for children during the summer time. Most of my education was out on the road. I had always wanted to have my own business. I have been able to utilize my experience and skills to accomplish some of my goals in a home based business. I work In partnership with Jesus, cause He owns everything including the business. I enjoy Working As A TEAM in network marketing. Working as a team I believe is one of the keys to success. I would like to share with those who are interested in improving their environment by introducing toxic free products. If you will take a look at my blog here you will learn more. I ENJOY: Singing in Church, Meeting New People, Traveling, Fishing, Outside Activity, Spring and Summer, Playing Volleyball, Swimming, Horse Back Riding,
glitter-graphics.com My interest are I am Irish, Swedish, on my Mother's side and German on my Father's side. I think it is fun to find out peoples different nationalities to see if they match up with mine. We got to meet wonderful friends from Sweden as they toured the states and was able to have my mothers Swedish Bible that had an inscription on the first page written in Swedish interpreted that was something my mother has been wanting to know about for many years. She was adopted 6 months after her mother had died and only got to know her Irish side of the family. It is still a mystery to us I would really like to connect with the Swedish side. "Frank Larson" is my great grandfather he was born in Sweden and that is far back as I can go. Jamestown, New York is where my mother was born.

Who I'd like to meet:
PSALM 111 PRAISE YE THE LORD. I WILL PRAISE THE LORD WITH MY WHOLE HEART, IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE UPRIGHT, AND IN THE CONGREGATION. THE WORKS OF THE LORD ARE GREAT, SOUGHT OUT OF AL THEM THAT HAVE PLEASURE THEREIN. HIS WORK IS HONOURABLE AND GLORIOUS: AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURETH FOR EVER. HE HATH MADE HIS WONDERFUL WORKS TO BE REMEMBERED: THE LORD IS GRACIOUS AND FULL OF COMPASSION. HE HATH GIVEN MEAT UNTO THEM THAT FEAR HIM: HE WILL EVER BE MINDFUL OF HIS COVENANT. HE HATH SHEWED HIS PEOPLE THE POWER OF HIS WORKS, THAT HE MAY GIVE THEM THE HERITAGE OF THE HEATHEN. THE WORKS OF THIS HANDS ARE VERITY AND JUDGMENT; ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE SURE. THEY STAND FAST FOR EVER AND EVER, AND ARE DONE IN TRUTH AND UPRIGHTNESS. HE SENT REDEMPTION UNTO HIS PEOPLE: HE HATH COMMANDED HIS COVENANT FOR EVER: HOLY AND REVEREND IS HIS NAME. THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM: A GOOD UNDERSTANDING HAVE ALL THEY THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS: HIS PRAISE ENDURETH FOR EVER. .. Pretty Amazing Grace
.. EPHESIANS 2 AND YOU HATH HE QUICKENED, WHO WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES AND SINS; WHEREIN THE TIME PAST YE WALKED ACCORDING TO THE COURSE OF THIS WORLD, ACCORDING TO THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, THE SPIRIT THAT NOW WORKETH IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE: AMONG WHOM ALSO WE ALL HAD OUR CONVERSATIONS IN TIME PAST IN THE LUSTS OF OUR FLESH, FULFILLING THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH AND OF THE MIND; AND WERE BY NATURE THE CHILDREN OF WRATH, EVEN AS OTHERS. BUT GOD, WHO IS RICH IN MERCY, FOR HIS GREAT LOVE WHEREWITH HE LOVED US, EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN SINS, HATH QUICKENED US TOGETHER WITH CHRIST, (BY GRACE YE ARE SAVED;) AND HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS: THAT IN THE AGES TO COME HE MIGHT SHEW THE EXCEEDING RICHES OF HIS GRACE IN HIS KINDNESS TOWARD US THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.

Hey Pattie, thanks for stopping by and saying Hi! I just wanted to write you back and say hello and that I hope you have been doing well lately. Sorry i never responded back to your earlier comment about when I met Patty Loveless. My laptop wasn't working until yesterday. Anyway, she is my inspiration too. My dream def. came true when I met her. She is sooo sweet and classy and down to earth. I will post the pics i took of the concert and that I took with her as soon as i can. I will let you know when they are up. She will be touring again in the spring. You should try to get some concert tickets! :) ...I am glad to hear you have been on myspace a little more lately. It is addicting though. lol. Yeah you should add more of her stuff to your page though that would be cool.
Anyway i hope you have a great week!
Love, Sarah

Hi Pattie,
I just had to comment on how awesome your page looks! I also really love the video choices you made that you have on your page. They are some of my favs.
:)
That is so funny that of all the Celtic Woman ones you could have used, you happened to use the one where they are singing "spanish Lady". LoL ..cuz that is my most fav. of all their songs.

That is too awesome. Love, love, love, you page.
:)

Hope you have a great weekend!
Love,
Sarah mae

ps- and since you know how much I love patty loveless, i thought I would say Really Great Choices of her videos you used too! ;)

Hey Pattiej2, thanks for adding me to you list of friends! Oh yes, we do have a lot in common, my grandpa's ancestors from my mother's side were from Ireland! I also have it on my father's side as well, but not sure if it was my great-grandmother or what. I first learned of the Celtic women on tv as well. Now I have all three cd's and dvd's of theirs! I love their music so much, I just couldn't resist. :) Orla is my favorite of the Celtic Ladies though.

So I think they are pretty awesome as well.
Thanks! I am glad you like my site! :)
Your welcome, well thanks as well for adding me.
:)
Oh yes, I love Bluegrass music too. I like most country music though as well. Depending on the artist sometimes though. I mainly like the older artists like Tammy Wynette, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn etc.

But I really Love Patty Loveless the most!! lol
I think I read that you like Alison Krauss..I like her lots too as well as Rhonda Vincent!
Thanks! Have a Blessed Day as well!
Ok, I will. Things in life are just hard sometimes.
lol
Love,
Sarah mae
