Digital band travels light! Husband Gary travels well also!
Influences
I grew up on a rich mix of music, Beatles, Gospel and discovered Andre' Crouch at 12 years old! I knew I wanted to sing to inspire! Other influences, Annie Lennox, Billie Holiday, Tina Turner, James Brown, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. I have learned from my peers such as Albino Montisci, Giuseppe DeChirico, and many American artists. Thankful to know a lot of international music influences.
Sounds Like
I got pegged the Italian "Sandy Patty" years ago...what an honor!
Patti never intended to be a singer, but she has sung in 15 different nations around the world. She was transformed from a non Christian background to an on fire teen in Nashville, TN in 1971. She left Nashville for Bible School in Dalarna, Sweden at the age of 16 and later joined Christ Is The Answer Ministries (www.citatoday.org) an itinerate grassroots evangelism team that has preached the Gospel worldwide for many years now. With CITA she served for 10 years in Europe, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. After the years at CITA Patti signed with the first Christian Record Label in Italy, which started the distribution of Word Records and other Christian music product in Italy. She also recorded a few albums during that time and served in concert ministry, singing evangelism crusades and in churches all over Italy.

After living by faith overseas for nearly 16 years, it was time to return to the USA a few years ago. She travels to sing in Italy most every year.

Patti wears her “Italian Teacher” hat here in Nashville

Patti (AKA Patrizia in Europe) has been speaking and singing professionally in Italian since the age of 19. Born in an Italian neighborhood of upstate New York gave Patti fond memories of growing up among Italians. She studied in Europe and then served with a Christian Organization for 10 years, both in Italy and India. She then lived and worked in the music business for nearly another ten years while living in Torino, Northern Italy.
Patti’s fun style of teaching conversational Italian to beginners has become popular among students in Nashville. She introduces geography, cultural aspects of Italy and the basics of spoken Italian for the traveler.
Patti lives with her husband, Gary, her son Nathan and two adorable Maltese dogs in Nashville. For class info see
