I like almost any music except for rap, (except Eminem- I think he is adorable, with a lot of thought and wisdom behind his words).. but the 80's and country are my favorite!
Movies
I hardly ever get to watch them, but I like mysterys, action, adventure- romantic and comedys. I like movies of a more serious nature, drama- pretty much most movies except I will not watch the scary ones..the Freddy movies, Chuckie-that kind..NO WAY!! And I still won't watch arachniphobia..I live in Arkansas- I see enough spiders!!
Television
CHARMED and SMALLVILLE, and WEEDS!!! I love Charmed, and am mourning for the fact the show will not go on. (Still hoping for a last minute reprieve, and that they will do more seasons!!) I also watch almost faithfully, NANCY GRACE, RITA COSBY, GRETA SUSTEREN, SCARBOROUGH COUNTRY, OREILLY, and LARRY KING...last but not least, my all-time favorite--HOUSE!!!

I am a 55 year old Mom and grandma. I love birds (especially parrots), dogs and cats. All animals, really. I have 4 birds now, a blue and gold macaw named Baby; 2 Amazon parrots that have been together for over 34 years;a Patagonian conure named Paulie; 6 dogs, and 2 cats. Some of their pics are here on my page. I am still missing my Monty, my most special blue and gold macaw. His lost ad is by my name, and I will never stop hoping that someday, my baby will be returned to me. I have several blogs with pics of him and Baby, and some on my page as well.
I ran my own little thrift store here in Trumann, but closed it to bring my Mom home from the nursing home, and care for her here at home. Mom passed away in March, but I have not re-opened the store. Her is a pic of my Mom.. I am planning to move North, back to the Wisconsin/Michigan border area-I will probably open a store there when I get there. I keep the items low price to help people who just cannot afford to have much, and this way they can have more. I truly enjoy the work that I do, and I also usually have one or more handicapped or disabled people working with me. This is excellent job skills for them, and a major plus for me-I love them. I love to garden, and several of my blogs have pics of my gardens as they grow, so my children up North and my friends can watch my progress. I am known as the Birdlady here in town, and many people bring me abandoned or lost birds whose parents have been killed by storms or animals. I have one main advice for anyone who finds a lost abandoned bird-Leave it There! Keep an eye out, but many times a parent will return or another bird flock member will care for the bird-ONLY when you are sure no one has returned or is caring for the baby, then get help for it. Here are a couple of our rescued babies: This is StarBaby, who I also have a couple of blogs on-our labrador took over her care with me..Starbaby with Susie and puppies"nursing"StarBaby learning to live outside:and StarBaby eating pizza with us: StarBaby has been completely rehabilitated to the outside, and now has his own flock and family. He does still come to visit, and taps on the window when it is cold or he wants more bird seed put out in the feeders! There a couple of pics in my pic album, I think, of Barbus and Stripe, a couple of other birds I rehabbed. I have slideshows of my grandchildren here, and I need to redo a slideshow of Monty-I think it is missing now from here. Zake, my youngest grandchild, is in the slideshow on the left of my page.Here is my oldest chihuaha, trying to convince me she really wasn't doing anything wrong... Our conure, Paulie.. My other, chihuaha, Zeaira.. Here is my baby, Furbeast....and our newest, littlest chihuaha, Gizmo.. and here is Furbeast with chuck..he loves to just "perch" on your shoulder when your on the computer... ..So basically, I love the outdoors, love nature in all of her beautiful incarnations, whether it be the weather, rain snow, or sunshine; I love animals in all shapes and forms; and I tolerate people-(smile)..I cannot tolerate any form of child abuse or animal abuse! If you want to hurt yourself, fine, that is your choice-but leave the innocents alone! Many of you, my dear friends, have asked me how JJ is doing. I'm caring for him like a sick child nearly 24 hours a day. I don't get much sleep (I'm not complaining) these days so I often forget to get back to you as I have limited computer time as well. It's not that I don't read your messages or think about what wonderful friends God has blessed me with. I truly enjoy hearing from you and love getting messages, comments and emails. I do want you to know that if I don't reply right away I will as soon as I get a chance. I love each of you dearly and thank you so much for everything. We need many, many prayers for JJ.
