Well I'm really just a ordinary person who loves being Pat Varley! I'm Texan born and raised and I am Texan Proud!
We love Louisiana and have met so many wonderful people here, but we hope to return to the Texas Hill Country one day. Although when you meet me you wouldn't be able to tell, I love to entertain, be on stage and singing and performing is a major part of who I am. The audience is who I perform too, these folks are so appreciated in such a big way, they are keeping the Oprys alive by buying those tickets! My heart is my family first, my children are the beat of my heart and soul and my husband is amazing and he holds the key to my heart. I truly make each day the best day possible, I love to smile and make people smile, life is too short to not stop and smell the roses while I'm here! I don't like mean people, greedy people or abusive people, I think God will handle those folks in his own time. I can honestly say that everyday to me is a blessing and I'm so thankful and blessed by my family and friends. I have traveled some rough roads, but my faith in God has brought me through some of the best of times and the worst of times.

I currently am privileged enough to work as a 911 Dispatcher for our parish. This job is such a blessing and I'm so proud to be able to serve my community. I work with an awesome group of folks who unselfishly give of their time and hearts each day because just like me, it's their passion to serve and protect.
I have also just begun a new venture, joining the Livingston Parish District 4 Volunteers. I'm so excited about this now that I have the time to really do what I want to do, help people. I've always wanted to serve as a Volunteer, but in TX as City staff we were not allowed to join the department. So now I have the opportunity to live another dream. I'm so excited about this, what a blessing to serve my community.
