About me:
Born in Coventry attended Whoberley hall junior school 1964-1970
Hearsall secondary modern school 1970-1975
Then became an apprentice tool maker at Matrix machine tools Coventry,
qualifying in 1979.
Signed to Warner Bros as guitarist songwriter in Reluctant Stereotypes in 1980
Helped set up cabin recording studios in 1982, becoming house engineer until 1987
Became a freelance record producer in 1988
The Primitives, Catatonia, David McAlmont, Diesel Park West, Toni Iommi & Glen Hughes
Ultramarine & Kevin Ayres, Band of Holy Joy and a whole lot more................
Has produced, engineered and performed in Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, India and Thailand...
Invested in mobile recording facilities in 2000.
Regular work is producing and engineering guitar bands, arranging and co-writing with solo acts and
as a session musician for Indian music mostly Punjabi and Hindi playing mandolin, guitars and bass.
Other work includes;
Recording and editing orchestras and choirs on location
Mixing and performing music for TV adverts, Films and Computer games.
