Paula was born on the 7th of May 1987 in a small and to most people unknown village called Wervershoof, The Netherlands.
She got raised by her mother who was a classical vocalist and her father who has no feeling for music at all. At the age of four Paula started to learn and play the violin and she started to play a little piano by simply listening and trying. When she was 11 years old Paula got sick of the violin and never touched it since, the passion she then developed was singing.
Soon Paula discovered that the world was bigger then this small village and the will to be independent drove her to the big city. Her parents had other things in mind and couldn’t deal with her adventurous character and that became an issue.
While discovering the world alone, away from her parents for the first time at the age of 13 she started to write about life, about the things she saw around her and she discovered the power of music. This power she expresses in her lyrics hoping people will get the messages she wants to bring.
If there are persons who will take strength, comfort or can relate to her music, like music helped her through some difficult periods of her life, then Paula will be be the musician she wants to be.
With the soul in her voice, her r&b vibe and jazzy influences together with her bubbly personality, this 20 year old girl is ready to touch people with her music and make her name well known and respected in the music community...
