Recorded direct to digital 8-track with built-in effects in shared bunk-bedroom using guitar, bass, "Jaymar" mini upright piano, glockenspiel, cello, banjo, dulcimer (like twice ever), drums (likewise), voice, and endless minuscule innovations in percussion (button jar shaker, calculator washboard, etc.). There was no "big picture"; just paul in his room recording a song, and then another.

8/27/09 - Currently in the works is an "odd balls" collection which has over 2 times as many songs as the aforementioned album. The songs are cohesive in that they are equally (sparsely) spaced in likeness to one another. Track-listing in chronological order. Around 80 minutes of music.
i'm gonna miss you, nick, and samuel (if samuel goes with) really really badly... i wish it was michael. hah, but then i wish he'd come back and be one of the brothas. well i still have a bit of time to visit one last time. i'm speaking too soon.
while listening to your songs i have gotten through some of the worst moments of my life.
my point isn't to complain, after all, hardship builds character and it's only natural.
i thought i would try to let you know that i'm a sincere listener though because usually i don't associate a person with the sounds i appreciate, even though i have the chance, and even while i might even personally know them.
i'm concerned with missing opportunities of expressing myself whenever it might actually be worth it because at least half the time i don't even know what i think!
