Well let me see... I am a suburban Nashville resident, though a transplant from the great state of Michigan (no Appalachian State comments please). I, like every other Nashville transplant, am a singer/songwriter who once had a dream. I still have a dream, only a different one. More importantly, I am a husband and a father. I am deeply Christian, but I don't speak the language. I'm not particularly fond of vegetables. My favorite authors are Anne Lamott and C.S. Lewis. I do not like hunting, fishing, or winter. I do not like lakes, but I love the ocean. Not the beach, mind you, just the ocean. I am annoyed by people who flick their cigarette butts out the window of their car and onto the streets where we all must live together; but I am not confrontational so I never say anything. U2 is the best band ever. The worst is probably Firehouse. I read Motor Trend magazine every month but do not have a subscription. I am hopeful. I try to do the right thing, but often fail. I can't figure God out. I probably do not try hard enough. I watch golf on television. I want everyone to like me. I often apologize even though I am right. I love quotes. Eleanor Roosevelt once said "Do one thing each day that scares you..." An example of that for me would be trusting God to catch me when I jump. I'm currently staring over the edge...
See you soon.
Hey Paul! Great to visit your page again today after so many months. I was excited and sad at the same time to see that you were on tour last fall...happy that you were on tour again...sad that i didn't find out about it till now. Any chance you'll be on tour again this year? I would love to catch one of your shows! Keep us posted :) Thank you again for all the ways you've touched my life.
Thanks for adding me as your friend. I just wanted to tell you that "To Bring You Back" brought me back to His Fold. I felt just like the person in your song, lost, searching, not realizing that all along as i was searching for God, He was looking to bring me back to Him. I didn't deserve to be found again, but that is the beauty of grace isn't it? Thank you Thank you Thank you for using your gift! May God Bless you and all the people who hear your music!
