PAULA SACKETT
Paula Sackett was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is married to West Palm Beach news anchor, Jim Sackett and has two children, Elizabeth and Michael.
In the early 1990's Paula enrolled in the Music Program at Palm Beach community College. With an Associate of Arts degree in Music, Paula went on to the Theatre department at Florida Atlantic University where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Not long after graduation, Paula became associated with The Lake Worth Playhouse, and in 1998 became the Executive Director. She found a true love in teaching acting to young people through the Children's Theatre Program at the Lake Worth Playhouse and continues to offer classes and private coaching in her new venue. Paula is now the Artistic Managing Director of The Studio Theatre of Wellington. Paula and The Studio Theate of Wellington are thrilled to be directing and producing Robert Harless's ENCORE FOR THE DIVA at the 2007 Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival.
Music
ROBERT HARLESS was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Kent State University and The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. In the 70's Mr. Harless lived in Toronto and was a member of Elmer Eisler's Festival Singers of Canada. He also worked with the Toronto Opera Company and the Canadian Opera Company. He began writing in the 90's. His first one act play Manning Street Memories was a winner in the National Writer's competition and received a production in Miami. His first full length play, By Dawn's Early Light won the new play competition at the Lake Worth Playhouse and was produced there. Robert's acting credits include, Art, Lonely Planet, The Heir Apparent, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Murder by Misadventure, and his own Encore for the Diva.
