I am a musician/ producer living in San Francisco. My main instrument is guitar but I also play bass, keyboards, harmonica, and my laptop. I occasionally play out live. Performances consist of synthesizing live instruments with programmed drum loops and soundscapes all while simultaneously DJ’ing from a laptop. I have been told my sound is similar to artists like Ratatat, Tommy Guerrero, Prefuse 73, Aphex Twin, Moped, and Fourtet. I also have a side project known as dotRock (an electronic-instrumental duo with Michael Ruris). Aside from being solely a musician website, I use my website for a variety of outlets including travel, photography, web design, and an occasional rant or two.

Paul Aziz's sophomore album "Pushing through the Pull Door" is a predominantly instrumental album filled with lavish layers, plump beats and elements of glitch. It has been described as “fluid for your ears” from beginning to end.
Yet another concept album, these songs carry a heavy emotion about simply stopping what you don't like in life and starting what you do like. It is about following your passions, learning from the trials and tribulations and shedding truth, awareness and light while doing so.
Paul Aziz's first album Turnaround is a truly original fusion of folk and electronic sound. The complexity of the layered, intricate rhythms flowingly intertwine creating a sound that is just as visually stimulating as it is audibly. Aziz's unique, multifaceted approach to creating music entices you to take a journey throughout the light and dark tones into the images that reveal pieces of his story. The quality of his lyrics, ranging from being powerfully poetic to naturally light, creates fluidity giving life and movement to the music. Whether the uplifting tone gets you grooving or enhances your chilling, it will inevitably get you addicted; and just may inspire you to do what you love, and have a turnaround of your own!
