Dublin born, Paul has been hailed as Ireland's premier young tenor and it is easy to see why. Singled out at an early age as having a special vocal talent, Paul was encouraged to pursue his dream and began voice study and training at the tender age of seven. He studied under Dr Veronica Dunne, Ireland's leading lady of opera and a renowned vocal teacher. A professional singer by his early teens, Paul recorded his first album as a boy soprano when he was 14. He released his album VELVET in Ireland in 2005 to great critical acclaim, placing him firmly at number two in the music charts. Since then, Paul has gone on to sell out concerts at the prestigious National Concert Hall in Dublin in 2006 and again in 2007, while also performing at major sporting events in Ireland and abroad
Hi Paul, thanks for the add and thanks for the greetings Claudi told me when she returned from Dublin. Hope to see you in Feb. 17th 2010. Wish you a great time during the fall tour.
Hello Mr. Byrom. Hope you are having a good, funfilled day of rehearsals. You have a marvelous voice and you share it in a beautiful way. You're simply amazing and had to tell you. Keep singing and I'll keep listening, over and over and over...Keep Well, Paul, and God Bless. You and yours are always in my prayers.
You are just plain amazing! There really are no words other than that. Your voice is powerful and filled with passion. You always give me goosebumps, and I can't wait to see you again in Denver
It's a shame to waste this space, so Hello Velvet Voice. Just watched the video again and still can't get enough of CT and you! Hope tomorrow is a better day for you!! LOVE AND HUGS
Paul, Wishing you all the best in the year to come - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you can find time to celebrate. Also have a blessed Easter. Safe travels and enjoy Canada.
Nobody ever writes to you here so I thought I would come and say HI Miss you much since we didn't get to see you. Just hoping for a great fall tour. THANK YOU VELVET VOICE. LOVE AND HUGS
Drove up from Tacoma WA to the UBC concert in Vancouver BC May 7th and was of course thrilled by the performances of all , but I LOVED the Josh Groban song "You Lift Me Up". Your voice was meant to sing that song! It made me cry. Was so happy to be able to catch another CT show and can hardly wait until the Fall 2009 dates are released. Thrilled that you have a solo gig 12SEPT and am looking forward to the new DVD also. Spent time in Dublin for my birthday in early March and used the "Hop on-Hop off" to catch all the best tourist things. Dublin is a vibrant city and am looking forward to a return visit in May 2010. As always, wishing you the best. God Bless, Paul. Just Joan
