Paul Cabri has been performing, teaching and recording in the NY tri-state area for many years and has been on the faculty of several music schools. Over the course of his career he has opened for headliners such as Meatloaf, Howard Jones, and KC & the Sunshine Band and performed in many live shows as a sideman for different solo artists. Over the course of this year he has worked as an accompanist for the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and also played in the stage band for the musical JOSE LIMON: THE MAKING OF AN ARTIST presented by the organization Making Books Sing which showcased at Symphony Space in NYC. He is also playing in the band of songwriter Elisa Peimer and has been featured on her newest CD PULL OF THE MOON as well as releasing his first solo EP CROSSOVER featuring a series of original instrumental pieces recorded in his Guitarisms Studio. This new recording can be purchased on Amazon.com or iTunes.
More examples of his work can be heard on the recordings of solo artists John Russo (Musicreations Records), Mike Hirsch (M-Sol Productions), Jefferson Thomas (Evanworks Music), Lee (The Square Egg, LLC) and Elisa Peimer.
You beat me to the punch. I missed opening day cards, and last week seemed too soon for closing day cards - even though last Sunday at Symphony Space was my final opportunity to see and hear Jose.
It was quite fulfilling, nonetheless - and I was quite content with how the instrumental ensemble sounded. The ensemble's sound and the quality of the score is so enhanced by the inclusion of the guitar; particularly, because of your rhythmic drive and interpretation of the part. Thank you for helping to make it so successful.
Yes, let's find something else to do together pronto, amigo!
Paul, it was great meeting you at Pianos in NYC for the Lori Steele gig. Really like the guitar on your tracks here. My best wishes for an awesome 2009 with your music. Let's stay in touch. Garrison

Moshe
