You! the audience, the next audience, the next call offering me a gig. I'M AVAILABLE FOR GIGS, particularly in intimate house concert style.
...influenced by the lighting, the sound, the smells, the thoughts, the attitudes, the expectations, the moods, the love, NEED FOR LOVE, and all the bs; birth, bach, beethoven, brahms, beatles, bowie... and all that lives outside of the box, and all the wonderful artists i've lived and breathed with in the HEALTHY CONCERTS (1994-keeps growing), and THE NEW TROUBADOURS club in manchester (1988-92)? I want to be influenced by You.

"Listening to Paul..s new live album ..Spring Tour 2006.., mainly improvised songs with a few of his classics such as Revelation and Peace On Earth, is much like a spiritual experience at the zoo... Paul..s unique ability to channel music and words of the moment and his courage to express himself uncensored is what makes Paul..s performance so exciting and awe inspiring." Sharon Lewis
"I listened to your cd last night, and thought it was great. You are one of the most talented musicians I know! I just can express how fantastic I think your songs are. You have been blessed with an unfair proportion of the musical talent that is alotted to the human race as a whole."
Kreg Viesselman
"...your cd, i have just listenind to it twice all the way through, great! Elliots' Grace stood out on the first hearing, that glasgow gig must have been wild. I like what you have done with the effects and everything and some of the songs just become atmospheres when you don't follow thye words. Some of it sounds like old vaudiville recording of music hall acts, its all so atmostpheric and live. The 'big heart', the 'poets taking over the world', which I love...Thanks"

This MYSPACE profile is dedicated to my passion for creating songs of the moment - yes, that's right, entirely improvised, words & music created 'on the hop', 'off the cuff', 'in the flow', 'stream of consciousness', 'wing & a prayer'... whatever you want to call it, just for you!
Check out the live concert recordings from the Spring 2006 tour. The featured sounds / mp3s reflect the many voice of Paul Chi - Impro - comic, interactive, prayerful... and the tribute songs, Who I am and Spectacularly released (compare these compositions to their sources).

THE SPRING TOUR ALBUM 2006 was produced from mini-disk recordings, mainly of gigs in digs - very cosy! The quality of the recordings is poor! However, certain atmospheres have been developed at the editing stage and the listener may feel enchanted, if somewhat distant from the source, as if eaves dropping on another world.
Not all the words are clearly audible in these recordings but I was able to transcribe all the lyrics from the original minidisc sources. Check out some of these LYRICS in the blogs. I also compose songs and organise a house concerts network that supports artists of all ages and backgrounds... You can find out more at www.healthyconcerts.com

Great to find you on here Paul! I remember you at the Earth Spirit camps of the late '90s. I was usually hanging around with 2 other rude northeners (Mrs. Cakehead Tom and Large shamanic John), me on guitar and those two improvising words about vag & veg! I think we may have gatecrashed your shows a couple of times but you incorporated us well!! And I remember you know the Blazing Snowmen (Phil & Eddie) from Manchester.Take care anyway, maybe catch you in Brighton someday. Boo.
