Paul Eason is a talented up and coming singer/songwriter with roots deep in the lone star state. This is Paul’s passion and it can be heard in magnitudes through the lyrics he lays on paper and the music he plays on stage. Paul’s songs have that feel good, love life appeal that has put Texas country on the map. At the same time, Paul maintains a style of music that fits a more pure country sound that the general audience outside of the Texas country fan base can love and appreciate.
Paul first started playing the guitar in 1995 and quite literally has not put it down since. But his love for music did not stop there - while a senior at the Houston High School for Performing and Visual Arts, Paul put together a group of talented professional musicians to form the Paul Eason Band. Since that time Paul has played alongside Texas and Country artists such as Roger Creager, Jack Ingram, Django Walker, Randy Rogers, Radney Foster, Clay Blaker, Rick Trevino, the Great Divide, Davin James, Cory Morrow, Aaron Watson, Gary P. Nunn, and members of the Ace in the Hole band, the Pat Green Band, the list goes on... The Paul Eason Band has played all across Texas, with no intent to slow down.
Born in Houston and now living in the Texas hill country town of San Marcos, Paul is steadily becoming a popular singer/songwriter. He is all about producing good music that makes people dance, sing, and enjoy life. With the new addition to his band of Texas steel guitar legend Danny Hawk - formerly of the Cory Morrow and Gary P. Nunn bands - along with the release of his first full length album, Paul and the band are making strides in the country music industry.
With a talented band, enthusiastic management, ever-growing fan base, and a little bit of luck behind him, Paul is ready to have some fun and make the country music scene a little bit better. The band has been busy touring to promote their debut album titled Keepin’ it ’Tween the Lines as well as continue to captivate crowds that appreciate good Texas music. The CD is available on Texican Records at www.pauleason.com. Look for the band next time they stop at your town.
The trip was so awesome - maybe it should be biannual? Also now that Chris and I are both in Dallas, we voted, and majority rules you should play there ASAP.

We just added the brand new CD from Paul Eason this past weekend. As a follow up to his successful CD, Keeping It 'Tween The Lines, fans are not likely to be disappointed. Paul has played several acoustic shows for things that OurTracks sponsors (like the Stock Show & Rodeo and open mic at Rolling Oaks) and he is great to see live.
