Born in Canada, raised in India, influenced from time spent in Japan, Cuba and the Middle East, Paul has been influenced by music from around the world. Paul has trained with teachers in Canada, Cuba, South India, New York and Los Angeles. A student of some of the most sought after drum set artists of our times he is a true artist and performer in every sense.
Fresh and original, this global musical journey is comprised of a myriad of styles: Jazz, Pop, R&B, Samba, Electronica, Afro Cuban, Middle Eastern, South Indian Karnatic music and more! Paul’s self-produced debut album is raking in impressive reviews while people continue to get caught up and groove to his infectious rhythms.
A true multi-cultural experience, combining percussion and dance, his incredibly high-energy shows are marked with hip electronica, drum duets and fiery solos. Paul takes you on a journey with songs in English, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Spanish weaving in and out of authentic styles effortlessly. Paul has put together a phenomenal dance band unlike any other, fusing elements of world culture, language and a plethora of dance styles ranging from Afro- Cuban, Reggaeton to Funk and straight ahead Disco.
