It's all me; drum programs, bass, guitars, all vocals, keys.
Influences
Show tunes from the 40's, The Beatles, my brothers, my mother and father, my sister Rhonda, God rest her soul; everything on the radio from 1965 on played on WLS and WCFL am radio, early FM underground; Nelson Hernandez; "Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones (I remember being about 8 years old listening to it on WLS on a crappy little radio through the front window at my grandparents apartment on the corner of Clark and Wrightwood in Chicago with my sister Rhonda, ca. 1964), it was haunting! Playing in concert band, John Apollo my band instructor; Billie Davidson, my piano teacher when I was 6. Connie Alberello, my music teacher in 1st and 2nd grade who couldn't figure out who was singing harmony to all the little songs she was teaching us! Santana, Clapton, Page, Joe Walsh, Ronny Montrose, Richie Blackmore, and everything in between.
Studied piano ages 6-9, trumpet and french horn through 7th grade. Being a teenager in the 70's resulted in great experiences and electric guitars!

I sing, play guitar, bass, keys, mandolin, play slide, write many styles of music, play many styles of music and enjoy MOST styles of music. Some of the stuff out today ain't music.

My oldest brother is a professional opera tenor, teaching voice instruction as a professor at North Texas University in Denton, TX.

My next older brother performed in countless bands, sang for nationally syndicated commercials, and sadly passed away from ALS in November of 2007; he was my inspiration and motivation to pursue music as a passion and a profession.

Unfortunately, I wound up with "a real job" to which I am enslaved for the next 4 to 10 years.

I play with local Kenosha band "The Real Deal", and work in slingshot trios with a couple other ensembles, and duo's here and in northern Michigan; ranging from classic rock, blues, top 40, jazz, folk, country and industrial. I am a lead singer and I play, primarily, guitar or bass, and then some piano, mandolin, percussion and drum set.
****
I am certified in guitar/bass basic set up and fretting through the Chicago School of Guitar Making

I can teach guitar and bass, but I choose not to

Hi Paul, Eric's a very good friend, so any recommendation from him carries a lot of weight with me. Your material sounds great, and your calendar is looking good too! I look forward to meeting you next time through Wisconsin.
