Sounds Like
It varies from song to song. One might sound like a rock ballad, the next might be classic rock, another might be acoustic or country, but most are unique in a way which I cannot describe. Listen and see, and check back often as songs will change from week to week. All share a usually soothing melody, however, and a hidden message (for the most part) that makes you think if you care to hear listen to what's being said.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Paul Evans. I'm a local musician in Richmond, KY with big dreams, a big imagination, and a big heart who can be quite stubborn at times. My other occupations are working for and going to school at EKU, serving in the KYNG, and being married (yes, it's a full time job).
I've been playing guitar since I was 16, writing my own music most of the time, and playing wherever my music has been welcomed, from bars to churches to coffee houses. A lot of my music was/ is inspired by a mix of my faith, personal views on life and loves throughout the years, others by random things such as books, movies, and life experience.
Over the past few years, I've written and recorded more than 100 songs, out of which have come countless album projects (Memories of Tomorrow, Rewrite History, Set Me Free, Change the World and Life in the Past Lane, to name a few). This comes in part due to funding from my job as a member of the KYNG serving overseas in Kuwait, where I was able to buy all sorts of fun new equipment. Kuwait was also where I was able befriend fellow writer/ musician Roy J. Moore, who helps write music (mostly lyrics) for my group project "Evans & Moore." For all of you who take the time to read this, thank you so much. For all my old friends on here, good luck at whatever is you do. Though memories will fade, you are never forgotten in my heart. For all my new friends, I hope you enjoy my music. Peace & love, Paul
