PAUL FUJIMOTO is a native of Seattle where he studied at the University of Washington School of Music in addition to private composing/arranging studies with jazz guru James Rasmussen. He is currently working on two shows: "NOT EXACTLY ROMEO"(with playwright Eric Holmes), a musical comedy of sorts and a Shakespeare-based song cycle. Paul is also a semi-prolific jazz composer/arranger and has written for the Jazz Police Big Band and the Jazz Underground in Seattle. His song "More To Me" will be showcased at the 2nd annual NEW GENERATION OF SONG: THE FUTURE OF MUSICAL THEATRE concert in association with the New York Musical Theater Festival this year. Paul was one of 14 young composer/lyricists selected by the Johnny Mercer Foundation this year to workshop with Craig Carnelia, Andrew Lippa, Amanda McBroom, Lari White and Brian D'Arcy James at Northwestern University. Paul is a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop.
