I've been playing and writing music for a long time. I love and appreciate all kinds of music, but what you hear on this page is what comes naturally for me. For years, I struggled against it, trying to be something else. It wasn't until I moved back to Kentucky that I came to terms with who I am and where I'm from. It's taught me that as an artist, you have to understand that much if you're ever going to write an honest song.
