PAULIE'S WAS A LIVE MUSIC VENUE WITH A TON OF HISTORY. MANY GREAT ACTS HAVE EITHER CALLED THE PLACE HOME OR PASSED THROUGH IN ROUTE OF BIGGER THINGS. BANDS SUCH AS BACKYARD TIRE FIRE, BOTTLE OF JUSTUS, AND SO MANY MORE HAVE CALLED PAULIE'S HOME FOR YEARS. PAULIE'S WAS THE MAIN VENUE IN BLOOMINGTON, IL TO KEEP THE LOCAL METAL SCENE ALIVE. OF COURSE SOME BIG NAME ACTS CAME THROUGH THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. MUDVAYNE, DIGITAL UNDERGROUND, JASON BONHAM, THE SPELUNKERS... ALL GRACED THE STAGE IN THIS HOLE IN THE WALL IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE LIGHTS HAVE TURNED OFF NOW. THE MUSIC HAS BEEN SILENCED. BUT THE SPIRIT OF PAULIE'S NOW LIVES ON AT A NEW AND IMPROVED VENUE ON THE EAST SIDE OF BLOOMINGTON. THAT SPIRIT LIVES ON AT COCONUT LOUIE'S. THEY'RE IN OUR TOP FRIENDS SO BE SURE TO ADD THEM AND STAY INVOLVED WITH LOCAL MUSIC. SEE YOU ALL THERE

Last year we donated over $4000 to the Salvation Army. This year we'll be donating proceeds to the YWCA Mclean County's sexual assault program. Come on out and celebrate with us and central Illinois' finest bands: Pokey Lafarge, Chicago Farmer, Dirty Hands Band, Peter Adriel, and The Spelunkers!
