Pauline Daynova Rovkah is a concert pianist, an award winner of the Pittsburgh Concert Society and the Head of Piano Program at Chatham University. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Kharkov Special Music School and from the Kharkov Conservatory (Kotlyarevsky State University of Arts), Ukraine. Ms. Rovkah performed in various concert series, including Steinway Society of Western Pennsylvania, Duquesne University, Frick Art Museum, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Chatham University. Ms. Rovkah participated in several well-know Music Festivals, such as at the Chautauqua Institution, New York, in Peacham, Vermont and at Cambridge University, UK . After winning a National Competition, she gave solo and chamber music performances in Rome, Italy, for the Rome Festival. She conceived, organized and performed in a number of thematic concert events in honor of Chatham's Global Focus program. She is a founder and Artistic Director of Chamber Music series at Chatham. Rovkah's solo recitals and chamber music performances have been recorded and broadcast by the Pittsburgh Classical Radio WQED. She has been featured in numerous WQED programs, including "Performance in Pittsburgh". -
