PK is a Toronto-based singer/songwriter/guitarist/drummer/band leader/interpreter of old songs. He plays drums with Clara Engel, Dave Clark's Woodshed Orchestra, The Tom Glenne 5.5 and has also played guitar, banjo, bass, piano and sung with many other wonderful and gifted musicians. PK is currently playing the ukelele almost exclusively, but in the rare moments when the uke is napping or feeding, PK writes poetry, comes up with band names, and works on material for his new band, The Loneliest Monks.
PK will soon begin work two new recording projects for solo voice and ukelele: an entire catalogue of favourite songs, original and covered; and an arrangement of Quadrophenia by The Who in its entirety.
PK is also an amateur photographer and shot most of the pictures above with an Olympus OM-1.
Music to Mistake You By was recorded in December '07 and January '08. It is split into two volumes: Music to Miss You By (nice stuff) and Music to Take You By (loud stuff). Someday it will all be properly mastered, minted, printed and released - some sweet, sunny day when the money flows like honey from the ears of a bunny...
Voided by Guises was recorded in the winter and spring of 2006.
Silent Five played its last show in Montreal on November 1st, 2007 at Quai des Brumes, capping five years of wonderful music-making with good friends. In its time, Silent Five recorded two cds - Lost at Sea (2003), and State of Rock'n'Roll (2005). Both are available for download on zunior.com.

Dear Paul - whoa. What a birthday! I did go to the Communist's Daughter after all, thanks for the recommendation. It was such a crazy fun time, they got me to sit in with my clarinet, then I even got to ham it up and sing "All of me" amidst the clinking of glasses. What fun. To be remembered - see you in April, I should hope! Best 'til then...
