Paul Linn alone (plus Biz Meir for the fourth album back in '87) but musically partnered for eternity with 80s hit lyricist Bill Bryant.
影響
Literally all music heard whilst in the womb and since. But more specifically....I'm influenced by really great melodies, harmonies and voices, the mind-blowing lyrics of Bill Bryant, the music of ABBA, Erasure, Howard Jones, ELO, Beatles, Cliff Richard, Duran Duran, Roxette, Mike Batt, Icehouse, The Fixx, Nik Kershaw, David Bowie, Jean Michel Jarre, Queen, 10cc, OMD, Carpenters, John Barry, Human League, Thomas Dolby, John Farnham, Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Yello, Jethro Tull, Seal, Dollar....and the production of Alan Tarney, Trevor Horn, Flood, Benny & Bjorn, Christopher Neil, Jeff Lynne, Rupert Hine, Dave Stewart and Peter Collins.
風格近似
Closest resemblances would be elements of Erasure, Howard Jones, George Michael, Keane, China Crisis, Beautiful South, Paul McCartney, Seal, Elton John, Sinead O'Connor and Kate Bush almost at times. But all artists hate to play the 'sounds like' game, as they want to be unique !
Paul Linn is a singer, musician and solo performer, using mostly keyboards to write music to Bill Bryant's unique and special lyrics. Bill had 80s hits with synth artist Howard Jones, most notably the Number 2 hit "What Is Love ?", as well as over half the Number 1 album "Human's Lib".
Paul and Bill are an inseparable and perfect team. To date, they have written and recorded over 100 songs. Between 1986 and 1990 they clocked up 330 gigs all over the country - mostly in Bucks, Berks and around the M25 circuit. Gigs since then have been less frequent, due to laughing about a gardener too much ! But things have started to change in 2007. More gigs and songs are a-comin' !

Hi PAUL LINN, thanks for continuing to be a friend of Electroflex.
Some important news!
Electroflex have been back in the studio following a break from gigging and recording with new track ‘Computer Virus’.
This is the first of a series of new releases for 2009, and what better day to start on than Liz’s Birthday!
‘Computer Virus’ is a live favourite. Anyone forced to work with computers will know how evil they are and this track is Electroflex’s response to Kraftwerk’s ‘Its More Fun to Compute’. It is a bouncy number with a serious bassline, sing-along chorus and a selection of curious samples.
The track will only be up on Myspace in full for a short time. Alternatively, visit our Facebook and iLike pages where you can add the song to you playlists
This Sunday We're Playing as a part of the Next Step event raising money for Cancer Research. It all takes place at Revolution, Broad Street, Birmingham and doors open at 5pm.

i think there's going to be a vocal pa available at the venue but i'm not 100% sure about this. men of unitus and hunting lodge will be the only bands with full drum kits so i'm not sure what you'll be doing with regards to share. men of unitus do you have a standing floor tom or do you use a mounted one?
amplification. i think we've got a vocal pa. but i'm not 100% sure about that. the main thing is band's amps. men of unitus, are you guys bringing amps?
