Short Biography: Paul Anthony Long
Paul Anthony Long wrote his first book when he was 14. Although, by his own admittance, it was ‘bloody awful’ it provided the genesis for aspects of his first published novel "Joe Fury and the Hard Death", such as the hard boiled noir setting and the talking chickens. In the 1990s Paul wrote film reviews for the horror fanzine "Samhain".
Paul graduated from Portsmouth University with a BA in film and went on to co-write and guest direct for 5 days on the feature film The Limelight (currently in production) starring Glen Maney (Green Street, Rapido TV) and Ricky Grover (Revolver, Black Books.) He has written, produced and directed a number of shorts and music videos and is currently putting together a feature film, as well as numerous screenplays, short stories and films and 2 more novels, one of which he hopes ‘to update Dante’s Inferno with more slapstick.’
