I have been busy over the past couple of years writing, recording and producing new original material much of which is posted on www.soundclick.com/paulmcilwaine - My first album of new music entitled NU (recorded 2006-2007) is available to download free of charge from the above site although you have to dig to find it LOL.........................................................................................................................................................
I am mostly interested in blues/roots/experimental music and would like to get back out gigging again if I can find people who are interested in similar styles of music.................................................................................................................In 2008-2009 I have worked on many Internet songwriting collaborations with artists including Anna Lang, Lexie Green, Shelia Sikes and Liz Clarke to name a few a good number of these are now subject to publishing contracts. I continue to create in my small studio Wonderland here in Ballyclare Northern Ireland...........................................................................................................
Sorry for the late reply, we've recently moved n had connection issues. I've been relegate to the box room til the building works are done. I've repeatedly stapled foam to the walls in defiance of the appalling acoustics. There's some prominant lo-mid levels in the 'rooster blues' kick drum, but is probably the sound of my tiny room. The balance is clear and dynamic, as is the performance of your good self! Some nice moods and well arranged productions on you new album. Cheers G
Hello Paul. Just stopping by to listen to your music. It's very well produced and definitively you're a great guitarist and an accomplished arranger. We hope to meet you one of these days. Corina & Joe.
mate, i was listening to "only you" and i reckon the guitar is fine at the beginning but once the band kicks in that you could double the melody with something a bit more tonally robust like a refined synth patch. it's nice, except i think you could build up the layers more especially after the instrumental breaks to keep the momentum going.
Will surely have a listen Im just about to upload new cut of 'overboard' nearly finished just have to do final vocs and back vocs love to hear your feedback also Cheers and good luck. Ali
Hi Paul, greetings from England! Many thanks for the friendship, comment and great music. I really enjoyed the songs. Liz has a beautiful voice, and I love the work you've done with her too :)
Looks like I picked a great time to log back in to myspace, Paul... just in time to catch those new tunes of yours. Wow! From Blues, to Smooth Jazz, Inspirational, Easy Listening, and even a little Rock n' Roll... no doubt about it, my friend... you are definitely multi-faceted!! Thanks for sharing, and keep doin' what you do!!
Very polished production Paul on all those tracks and really, music is in the ear of the beholder but, I think all those dogs will hunt for a wide range of listeners, not that I'm any kind of authority

Sounds interesting. Just moved house and the pc s/card has given up. Will listen soon as it's fixed. Traded the delay for a Voodoo-Vibe. It's sounds gorgeous, I'd recommend it to any decerning guitar player, though it's hard to switch off :-) Hope your well, Cheers G
