"Take one tortured saturnine type that's lived through the history of rock'n'roll. Marinate in turn of the century country blues, late 50's and early 60's rhythm and blues. Spice with Zapparesque cynicism and Beefheart abstraction. Add an inability to integrate socially and a seeming disregard for what could be considered normal human aspirations. Blend. Pour words screamed and growled on to a bed of the aforementioned musical influences which just happened to be played by a group of other lost and lonely musicians
-The Paul Middleton Band. If you are alive you enjoy!! "
Thank you so much to accept! I have to say I do looooove Surfin, in live it's just AMAZING... And I also love the way John moves when he plays ;) And I know it is not Angst Band but just Paul, but I do love "Distance" and "Human" as well. Thanks a lot.
Used to come and see you guys at the Indigo Alley and The Ramshill a few years back in Scarborough. Discovered a copy of your live at the alley album the other night and really enjoyed listening to it again. Great stuff!
