Paulo Cesar is a versatile instrumentalist,composer and sound enginner who plays cello,fretless bass and guitar.
In his native Brazil, he played cello for three years (1989-1992) at the Chamber Orchestra of Universidade Federal de Goias, and for eight years (1993-2001) with the Goiânia Symphony Orchestra.
During the past eight years he has collaborated with many musicians, including:
Ludmilla Varleshtain,pianist and composer;
Neoclassical guitarist Andre Feriante;
Dennis Montgomery, who is on the faculty of Berklee College of Music in Boston;
world-renowned drummer Alan White (Group Yes);
Newton Symphony Orchestra;
Lowell House Opera Orchestra at Harvard University;
Mercury Orchestra.

Paulo's performances encompass a broad range of styles such as, classical, bossa nova, jazz, tango, rock, and modern music.
