"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths [or be posted on your MySpace page] ..." (Ephesians 4:29, NIV)
OK, so the Bible doesn't actually mention MySpace. I threw that in there [and put it in brackets and italics to distinguish it from the actual Bible text] because it is a fitting application of the principle stated in this verse, and is something that everyone with a MySpace page needs to think about.
Married my beautiful wife Susan in 1982 -- she was 18, I was 20. That was a long time ago, and we're still madly in love!
Blessed with two wonderful children:
1) Our daughter Ashley died of cancer at age 14 in November 2001. She was a remarkable young lady who touched the lives of literally thousands of people, all over the world, because of the grace and tenacity with which she handled her cancer battle right up to the end. Her absence hurts so much because her presence brought so much joy.
2) Our son Justin will graduate from Waxahachie High School in 2008. We are very proud of the young man he has become, and the godly man he is becoming. I love you, Bubba!

We've been praying for you. Sorry we didn't get a chance to keep you company in the hospital. I know how hard it is to keep having things go wrong with your health. But I love the way you keep smiling and making everyone around you feel good with your jovial laugh. Hope you can make it Sunday. Love from your family, Larry, Sharon & Kayla Valentine
