Paul "The Truth" Pierce

An 8-time NBA All Star, Paul Pierce has been the starting small forward and captain of the Boston Celtics for his entire professional career. Paul led the Celtics, along with Ray Allen & Kevin Garnett, to an NBA championship in 2008 and was honored as the Finals MVP. Before being drafted by the Celtics in the first round of the 1998 draft, Paul played for the University of Kansas Jayhawks, where he received back-to-back Big 12 Conference Tournament MVP awards and was named an All American.

In 2002, Paul started his own foundation, the Truth Fund, which provides educational and athletic opportunities for disadvantaged youths in the greater Boston area, as well as Paul's hometown of Inglewood. Through his charity, Paul launched The Truth on Health Campaign to help empower and encourage young people to lead healthier lifestyles. The campaign includes the FitClub34 program: a rewards-based fan club turned “fit” club that provides children with the information, resources, and tools necessary to become more active and physically fit.
