Multi-award winning entertainer Paul Ross recently relocated to Austin, Texas, after spending the last 12 years performing professionally in Eastern Canada and the United States. Originally hailing from Ottawa, Paul began his career singing and performing music from all types of performers and genres. This broad interest in a wide variety of music has made him a very versatile performer in styles as varied as hard rock, alternative, pop/Top 40, oldies, jazz, classic rock, and more. In addition to his solo performances, Paul has also performed in a cover band called The Lex Pistols, who won the Lexpert cup at the Bay Street's AIDSBeat Battle Of The Bands in September 2005, as chosen by judges Farley Flex (from Canadian Idol) and Natalie Glebova (Miss Universe 2005), and headlined September 2006's Battle Of The Bands as returning champions.
Paul performs music from across the years: classics of the 50s, 60s and 70s, to Top 40 hits of the 80s, 90s, to hard rock, alternative and indie rock of today. Some of the music you might hear in a Paul Ross performance could include material spanning the years from The Beatles, The Killers, Lifehouse, The Tea Party, Michael Buble, Lenny Kravitz, Elvis Presley, James Blunt, Neil Diamond, Fuel, Led Zeppelin, Josh Groban, The Trews, U2 and more.
Paul also performed with The Spotlight Hogs in the Toronto area, covering music by All-American Rejects, Hinder, The Cult, Bryan Adams, Semisonic, Big & Rich, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Fuel, Finger 11, and more.
For the last 6 years, Paul has performed in a showcase of his own creation called "Elvis On Tour", recreating classic Elvis Presley performances using professionally reproduced costumes, highly energetic movements, and spot-on live vocals. Audiences feel as though they are revisiting outstanding moments from the early days of Rock & Roll in the 1950's, through the movie years of the 1960's, the '68 Comeback Special, and the Las Vegas and On Tour years of the 1970's, as Paul incorporates all the various eras of Elvis' career into the show.

Paul, by any chance you notice the standing ovations you were getting last night after every set? You get better every time I hear/see you sing. What an amazing voice. Btw, of the 10 years of professional singing background, have you done any other recording besides Elvis, I'm interested? If you have anything you can share with a friend. Thanks my friend.
My Friend, thanks so much for the ADD,
I learned about this other band of yours "The Lex Pistols" is it, last year some time. Different music than I am use to hearing you play.
How about sending me an e-mail sometime when you are playing some where in Toronto, not too far from the border of Scarberia, as with our living in Ajax, and not having a car. Btw, how about introducing me to your new beautiful love in your life, I am happy for you, you my dear friend deserve to be happy - you are a great guy! :)
