Music projects with Larry Coryell:
> Composed "Pascual Lives" (from my CD "Invention") which is viewable here and then performed live by Coryell, Wayne Shorter (who championed it's use on the tour, and widely considered to be the greatest living saxophonist) Buster Williams (bass,) Nestor Torres (flute,) Shizuki Ono (Japan's greatest Jazz trumpeter,) and others in L.A., Hawaii and Japan on tour in 2005.
> Performed bass guitar, drum sequences, recorded/edited and co-produced 2 tracks with Jazz Guitar legend Larry Coryell for Comet Records’ “Voodoo Crossing: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix” released worldwide October 21, 2003 and the follow-up Hendrix tribute: “Gypsy Blood” released 5/2005. In the liner notes, Mr. Coryell states: “Many praises have gone to Eddie Kramer for recording Jimi “back in the day”. I’d like to shower similar kudos on Paul Santa Maria for his great ear in recording a guitar; he has a knack for making a guitar sound strong and fat; Paul turned out to be my Eddie Kramer!”
> In addition, I have audio-edited these Larry Coryell’s CD’s:
“Live In Chicago” “Concerto de Aranjuez” “Concerto de la Cote d’ Opale” “Sentenza deo Cuore” and “Cedars of Avalon”. The “Aranjuez” background track accompanied Mr. Coryell when he performed to it live on Japanese television to 9 million people in a closed-circuit broadcast.
> Audio post-production on “Live at the Sky Church’ for Larry Coryell, released 4/2006
> 6/26/06 Performed live with Larry Coryell and Yves Nadeau on WUCF, Orlando, from which "Life Is Koo-Koo" is excerpted.
>I am listed in the acknowledgements section of Mr. Coryell's recent autobiography, and altho' uncredited, took some of the photographs appearing in this book.
