I'm not joking! Your comments will sit here for a long time and you will be sad! I just have this page to say I have one, and so I can be hip like everyone else.
When was the last time you and Jane danced? I mean, really danced, in the way twenty-somethings dance? How about coming to a dance party this Saturday? Then, as of Sunday morning, you could say, "Why I haven't danced like that since the night of October 4th, in honor of Heather Finch's 24th birthday!"

People are always asking me "Paul, how can I best support you, the struggling independent self-publisher?"
The answer is one (hyphenated) word: PRE-ORDER! My main source for selling my books all over the word is through a company called Diamond Distributors, the company that your local comic store orders ALL their books (Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, etc.) through. Diamond sells my books to comic stores, libraries and places like Amazon, Borders, Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, and many other international outlets.
Initial orders for a book help that book pay for itself, and makes a big company like Diamond feel it's worth carrying smaller publisher's books, which is really important. So, if you're interested in getting "BPM", the best way to do that, and help me as a self publisher, is to go to your local comic shop and have them order it in the OCTOBER edition of PREVIEWS, Diamond's monthly ordering catalog, for items shipping to stores in November 2008.
