"But sound is not so bad, is interesting ideas and harmony, I do not think that old. Such music is not what springs as expected. Artists are not quite like this. "
Birth:
I was born in Bradenton, Florida. There must have been some cool music playing in the delivery room that got wired into my brain somehow, because music has been there for me from the get go.
Ballard Elementary School:
I underwent extensive hand bell training for christmas songs and such. Extensive to a 7 year old probably equates to two or three weeks a year. I also took piano lessons after school at a womans house on the corner opposite the school. Ill try to remember her name..
On a side note, I went to elementary school with one Amy Menard, who has since gone on to play with the Trans Siberian Orchestra for a time.
King Middle School:
In middle school I was in the orchestra for 6th and 7th grade playing the saxophone (I had to pick an instrument, and I had just seen Bill Clinton playing sax on Arsenio Hall), but wasnt really feeling it so I switched to percussion in 8th grade. In the meantime, I got my first guitar at age 14 and promptly learned how to play every song by the band Nirvana.
Manatee High School
I continued my percussion studies in high school first under the tutelage of one Joseph Powell (who could sight read anything thrown at him, right side up or upside down as I struggled through it), then under Jim Bruce with the Marching Band, and Jasper Miller in Drumline. I think you learn just about as much discipline in band camp as you would in any sort of armed force. Drums were in my blood for a long time. My hands were never still. During high school I met Earl Hoback, Frank Friend, and Tim Heller. We’ve since been long time collaborators and pals, musical* (see under bands)and otherwise
UCF:
I went to the University of Central Florida for awhile, and was a Marching Knight. I took mostly music classes when i was enrolled. I met Aaron Tobin around this time and have been collaborating with him since 2000* (see under bands)
Nowadays:
I got a digital 8 track recorder (Tascam DP-01) in Jan ’06 and used that until Oct. ’06 when i started using my computer and a basic program (Audacity) to record. To date, Ive recorded about 315 compositions. I try to record something once a day if possible. Typically I record alone, unless April Purdy decides to come over and play some acoustic guitar with me. I dont set out to create any certain style of music; One day I’ll just do vocals and guitar, or rap over a beat, or improvise piano over a loop, or decide to use only samples from vinyl records and movies, or make straight electronic blips and bleeps. Sometimes it may sound like youre at the beach, or it may sound like youre in a video game menu.
Im very interested in making music for video games and movies..Message me if youre interested..
*Bands (from above)
Earl and I were in Speedster 88 (I played drums)
Earl Frank and I were in Bright Line Spectrum(I played guitar)
Earl, Frank and Tim were in Considering Burgundy
Frank and Tim were in The Silent Treatment
Aaron, Earl and I were in Michigan Winter(I played guitar)
Aaron, Frank, Tim and I Are Currently in Daylight District(I play guitar)
My goal in music is an asymptote toward which i am forever approaching without ever quite reaching..
Hi there Solorzano first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people you can click the link below to visit our profile which wlil provide you with more information and also give you the link to our website! I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.

We want to find out which users are actually using their Myspace accounts. So if you are using your account, please pass this email to every Myspace user that you can.
